Hi there

Just wanted to say thank you for the Summerset Event - fun, easy things to do with other players in a pretty place, and lots of lovely prizes! I'm having a great time.

Also wanted to say how much I love and appreciate the design of the Snowhawk Set. It's beautiful. I love the new shape (partic the sleeves), not a hip or crotch flap in sight and it looks so toasty warm! Really great.

I agree that the the Summerset event is pretty nicely rounded.

A bit of WB bosses and delve/dolmens and a bit of picking nodes.

Since the purple coffers can drop from almost everything it is pretty stress free event.
If you are not for WB, you can run a dolmen or two, if you are not for that, you can pick some mat nodes.

    Overall pretty good event.

Apart from the wait on Geysers, its been a pretty cool event.

Dailies and geysers are there all year round. You don't need an event to do them if you enjoy them

Mmmm, disconnected every five minutes and then having to shut everything down because it tells me I'm already logged in otherwise. 300-500 ms in latency and 30 fps (as the highest). Deync and lag meaning dying at geysers again an again. Being unable to complete quests because the quest objectives are no longer there because everyone and their mother is farming dailies.

    Yes, fun /s

Lol to add, 20 minutes roll backs so just lost a bunch of stuff. Yeah this event is fun.

Really don't think that applies the majority of pve players lol. If this game runs so badly for u, i'd suggest go play another game and don't waste your time

I also am enjoying the event. Nice to do a WB sweep of the map on my char's with plenty of support available lol

I'm starting to think most of the people complaining about this stuff don't have computers that can handle the game that well. I personally haven't had any issues with the game since upgrading to my new pc a few months ago.

Aside from a bit of lag, which is to be expected (event + most people are at home right now with nothing else to do)... I do think this event has been very smooth compared to many previous events, and I think a lot of that has to do with how it's set up. Most importantly, getting the tickets and gold coffer at the turn-in instead of competing for boss loot.

Then again, I'm not grinding for anything in particular, so I'm not worried about any particular drop rates. I've gotten my tickets every day, quite easily; I've picked up a few scrimshaw recipes, which I've never had the luck of getting before, along with a couple of purple furnishing recipes; the purple coffer drop rate seems good to me; and I like the Alinor furnishing items for sale at the event vendor... and since I'm only a day away from picking up my second berry, I should be able to actually get a few. All without too much hassle or inconvenience, so it's been a really good one as far as I'm concerned.

I’m not usually one for moaning and I don’t have too many problems with dcs but last night on xboxeu the game kicked me off every 5 mins running around just harvesting nodes, I had the cyrodiil loading screens non stop also(in summerset) , hope it improves today

My main character rarely spends 5 minutes outside of Summerset so I am probably in the minority when I say this has been pretty boring. It's not the devs fault though that I live in Summerset. The mythics were good for getting me to venture elsewhere. I hope more mythic items and other cool stuff to be excavated will come in the future.

It's been the best event I've done so far as you have more dailies there to do. Last event in Murkmire was boring as the zone only has two daily quests with no dolmens or geysers.

I felt a huge feeling of relief and happiness going back to Summerset after Greymore. I'm a world traveler around Tamriel, but truly, I have missed all the Elven lands! Sadly, I did not find any joy in Skyrim.

    Yeah it's totally a hardware issue /s

I love the logic of, "well I don't have issues so clearly it's personal problems and not the server/game that's at fault" here.

I enjoyed every zone, but Summerset is just sooooo relaxing B)

Yes, I agree. It is very good event. A lot of fun and some good rewards. I am really glad that I don't need to leave Summerset to participate.
The Three Storm Sharks, episode 8 released on january the 8th.

Me too, I've actually been running all my +50 characters through Summerset dailies, and a couple of the under 50s too. I don't usually go that out of my way for events, I guess I missed Summerset, haven't been there in a while.

I'm going to be the voice of opposition and say this event if a failure. I'm sorry, but there's simply nothing to do. There's only a very minor motivation to go to Summerset and that's the extra event tickets. Without double loot on meaningful content (ie. Trials) what is there to do that makes this event better than any other day in game other than the 3 tickets? Double resources? YAY! I can't wait for that event where I can go pick double cotton!

Please reconsider these events for the future. While the Murkmire event was boring and pointless, at least it kept people interested because larger group content rewarded your efforts.

I’m not that into this event, but I did run a quick nCR yesterday, and I’m fairly sure I did get two reward coffers from the quest giver.

If for you the only meaningful content are trials, it doesn't mean others have nothing to do. What's with "I don't like it therefore it's bad" attitude?. Such event is a great time to farm (or buy) zone motifs, farm resources, get some achievements on a new char while there's enough people to help you with overland or just revisit a nice zone.

Fantastic event! So happy to revisit Summerset and get even more out of it. By far the most relaxing zone in the game and they really incentivized returning to it with this event.

Not much really changed with the introduction of this event lol.

People have always been doing these daily quests.
