Require Damage Proc Sets to have a trigger

Proc sets, such as Unleashed Terror or Flame Blossom as an example, could require you to hit a special keybinding to proc instead of automatically proccing.

a lot of proc sets require you to attack or use specific skills tough....
So I dont think you can put something like unleashed terror or icy conjuror that requires you to slot and use a specific skill to something like flame blossom that procs by itself.

I can see your argument with something like flame blossom; at the same time this is taken into account with regards to overall power level and cooldown time (flame blossom is weaker than other proc sets for example).

That would just allow people to control the proc timing to their benefit.

As has already pointed out, proc sets do have a trigger. Something must happen to have a chance for the proc to occur.

the1 has a great point, that the idea presented gives control to the player that would allow them to hit with a true burst that would make proc sets even more powerful in PvP.

That would be great, in my opinion. This would level the field against Nightblades, who are able to cloak as a means to suppressing a proc from firing at the wrong time.

Would probably be an option whether or not to proc automatically or triggered.

Many procs trigger without a considerable condition met such as damage done, but take skoria, you could proc it whenever you use a combo instead of trying to time around the proc.

    Would it be OP? Idts.

Would just introduce more skill and control rather than continuous proc.

However, if it was never automatic it would need to be careful about what sets.

Putting it on something like relequen would be a nightmare.

It would probably also put them on a GCD or at least not allow 2 sets to go off at once.

You probably only be able to activate one at a time but it would absolutely be necessary to not be on GCD.
