Combo key macro: legal or not?

Good day to you all. Just a simple question: is it legal or prohibited to use "combo key macro" for mouse buttons? E.g. swap weapon + use skill + swap weapon back. Thank you.

It used to be prohibited to use automation for combat like that. Whether anyone gets banned for it, I have no idea.0 -

Huh?
Players weapon swap to re-buff all the time.
There are gear sets with permanent buffs (e.g Rattlecage for Major Sorcery) that cater to players with lazier dispositions.
But macros are definitely against the TOS.

I had a similar reaction. I find it odd someone would suggest it is absurd to press keys to do what is needed to be done. I will say that when I weapon swap I am pressing more than one key.
I find it equally odd someone would actually admit in the forums to using macros in combat.2 -
