I identify one of my Dunmer as Ashlander-descended. Daedra worship is not on the list.

Hello, Bearbelly and sorry for I have not included your options to the list! When I was formulating the question of this poll I kept in mind two definitions:
1. Religion is a specific form of the dominant social consciousness, mindset and perception of the world supported by local church and state, and followed by a corresponding behavior and specific actions, based on the idealistic belief in existance of sacred and supernatural phenomenons.
2. Church is an extensively organized, hierarchically bureaucratic social institution of political power exercising a religious monopoly and closely allied with the state.
Features of a phenomenon can change in time, but the definition describes a phenomenon as the process, it doesn't change in time like those features do. So, this is just my definition of religion, it might be right, it might be wrong (we may discuss it privately if you feel any necessity in it) - nonetheless the options I chose to pick up were based on these two definitions. So, when I had been deciding to include, say, the Ald Redaynia cult devoted to Sheogorath or any other such cult, or some personal beliefs like "I follow the Green Pact except it's Meat Mandate", etc., I compared it to the definition of religion I gave above. If it didn't correspond at least with one word, then that cult was not considered a religion within that definition, because in order to correspond to a given phenomenon the object should correspond to it's definition entirely.
This is the actual reason fellow players can't find those various Daedric Cults, different personal beliefs devoted to some Daedra, etc. Honestly, I was not aware the forum code restricts the number of the options to 10 positions. Though I have to say, I'm glad we all see the very same thing named by the very same word that differently . Gods seem to like variety both in our universe and in the universe of TES . 1 -

So of my six toons, here's what I envision their beliefs to be:
1. Wood Elf Warden: He's loosely pantheist and tends to be believe in Yffre the most, coming from a Green Pact background.
2. High Elf Sorcerer: He's a sorcerer, so he doesn't really worship anything. He's a follower of the Old Ways of the Psijics currently.
3. Breton Templar: He follows the loving embrace of Dibella and her priestesses. Azura isn't bad, either.
4. Imperial Dragonknight: An imperial's imperial. He follows the imperial religion, with Akatosh above all. He's also sympathetic to Zenithar.
5. Redguard Nightblade: He's a nihilist. Too many years of military service hardened his heart. Sithis seems like a cool concept, but at this point he just likes stabbing.
6. Dark Elf Necromancer: No strong religious beliefs other than might-makes-right. Like many dunmer, he believes life is a test and Necromancy is a powerful tool for self-empowerment.1 -
