Always militant and always denying like Darius Shano and all those Heretics of the Shivering Isles. It's always bad when a fellow Dunmer countrymer ends up at a Corner of the House of Troubles ;). Eh, my Dunmer (I don't have many.... about half a dozen across two accounts, both PC servers) were not born in Morrowind, and didn't grow up in the Dunmer "way". It's the only way I can manage to play a few of them....

Of all the races in Tamriel, I never play Orcs or Argonians, and Dunmer are just plain difficult for me.

The Daedra are sadistic, egotistic creatures who only reward you when it benefits them and will torture you for their own entertainment. Even the "good ones" They're manipulating to the extreme.

The Aedra is probably the closest you could come, but they seem to not really care anymore.

I think maybe they have a faint hope the Aedra still gives a rat's ass but have taken life into their own hands.

We just want to have a drink and not worry about it."

I think maybe they have a faint hope the Aedra still gives a rat's ass but have taken life into their own hands.

As I always say it when it comes up to the discussion on the nature of Daedra - to understand what they are, just pick up any of their general existing descriptions, be it in a post like yours or an overview like this UESP article, and mentally change the words "Daedra" and "Aedra" to "Players" and "Developers" respectively and you'll see how would the NPC treat us, players, from their in-game perspective :). It is an interesting thing to notice because the features the devs implemented to depict the Daedra generally resemble the features of an ordinary video game player, though those features are still implemented the way to make them fit the in-game universe. Daedra are really neither good, nor bad - they're just playing a game and the people of Tamriel are not people with their hopes, suffers, every day life, etc. at all to them. They are just units, mobs and video game characters to them and nothing more :).

Sorry for this side talk, let's get back to voting! I wonder why is there just a lone Orc who voted for the Code of the Orc Father. According to their afterlife beliefs, "In Malacath's stronghold, every Orc is a chief, every chief has a thousand wives, and every wife has a thousand slaves to cater to their every need" - that should have made them vote more actively ;).

Since Oblivion, I always liked the Nine Divines and was fascinated with the Knights of the Nine DLC because, as a Christian, I saw many aspects of my religion into theirs (only in many different faces).

I mostly associate with Akatosh and Stendarr, they are my favorite.

I wish we had religion added to ESO (with gameplay, boons, lore and all), like all, even daedra worshiping. Maybe something like I heard TES II Daggerfall had. I specially would love to be a follower of Julianos. Also a devotee of true Tribunal with an ashlander, well I have lots of toons from different backgrounds to keep going on this wishlist.

My main character, a Breton from a small town in Glenumbra, was raised with a general reverence for the Divines, but she is not an ardent follower of any particular deity. She absolutely recognizes and respects the power of beings and forces considered to be deities, but she's more of an outside observer of how they influence people and the world.

There was a point when she might have considered a low-key allegiance to Meridia, but then... things got complicated.

    Altmeri Religion
Tough question for me. It really depends on my character's race. My main is an Altmer that highly respects the altmeri religion deities but primarily worships
Meridia. He is called Seraphas Lightenthar and is a templar. As his name and class would suggest, he is dedicated to the light. My Orc characters worships Malacath. My Imperial and breton worship the imperial Divines.

Dunmer is tricky for me. On one hand I like the Tribunal temple religion, but my out of game knowledge of the tribunal siphoning divine power to attain their apparent "godhood" makes it hard. One could argue all daywhat constitutes godhood, I personally dont consider the Tribunals gods, with Vivec as an exception if he did achieve CHIM(I cant remember if was confirmed). On the other hand, I highly respect the Ashlanders for staying true to the gods that led them to Resdayn/Morrowind, and in the end as we see in 4th era, Dunmer have returned to worship of their original trinity of gods.

As for my persona favourite religion/gods, that would be between Meridia and Stendarr. And on a lighter note, I absolutely love the angelic design of Meridia. Ever since I was a kid and was exposed to the paladin class in Diablo 2, I kinda had a thing for paladins/crusaders/beings of light/order, etc.

As for atheism in TES...to me thats more into "Nay-thiest" territory to quote tvtropes. I think anti-theist or secularist would make more sense to call yourself in TES.
