    Just an air (iron, dust - anything) atro left and we're pretty much set. Wanted stam curse but with their recent nightblade rip off I'd like to keep it simple

    I love that idea, stam curse especially👌

    I'd like to volunteer Deadric Prey as a viable candidate for stamina curse. It could look something like this:

    Curse an enemy with a destructive rune, dealing XXXX Physical Damage to the target and XXX Physical Damage to all other nearby enemies after 6 seconds. While the curse is active, you and your pets deal an additional 10% damage to the target. You can have only one Daedric Prey active at a time.

    Why Daedric Prey and not Haunting Curse? Because not all magsorcs like dragging a zoo behind them and would prefer to stay viable if possible.

    I can agree i wish they just gave it the melee frags face lift make it have a chance to proc on stam skill usage that 4 sec comboed with this games horrid lag and performance we gonna waste most 4 sec durations trying to get a light attack to fire off plus heavy has such a long wind up

    The only problem is that a "melee frags" would be OP for the same reason a melee whip would: stam already has enough insta-cast high damage skills available and most are direct damage. Contrast that to mag builds that need to split between direct damage and DoT damage which keeps the skills somewhat balanced and limited, this is before even mentioning general balance between mag and stam damage in the first place when considering stam only has to stack weapon damage and stam, where mag must manage stam, spell damage, and max mag.

    Insta-cast frags on a stam build would be an "I win" button, and if you want that , then you can always go hybrid and take the downsides of a hybrid to get the potential to do so.

    Anyone that has played a hybrid knows what the problem would be with a stam frags, and apparently ZOS also understands the issue enough for them not to do it despite the forum noise from posters pretending it wouldn't be broken OP.

    We do? Neither Wrecking Blow nor Rapid Strikes are instant cast. Neither is jabs. What else are stam kids using these days?
    The only instant cast melee direct damage skills I can think of are Nightblade's Surprise Attack and Executioner. Warden has Dive and Necro the skull, but those are ranged and have a travel time.
    I'm not saying we need such skills, but to say that we have enough available doesn't seem factual.

    It hits lower than Wrecking Blow or Snipe, it helps the sustain but on DD it's not really necessary, Wrecking Blow also gives empower, and ends up being vastly superior. It's basically crushing weapons but lasting longer.

    The debuff is nice but with the recent buff to Alkosh, sharpened etc, I wonder if it's necessary.

    I'll maybe use it as a tank. As a main spammable on DD it's a big damage loss. And it's a bit hard to weave once every 5s just to keep the debuff up, but I'll keep practicing that, rip my bar space.

    Otherwise it's very good for ganking.

    Crystal Blast (morph): This ability has been reworked into a Stamina morph, and renamed to Crystal Weapon. It is now an instant-cast ability that causes your next Light or Heavy Attack made within 4 seconds to deal additional damage, equal to the standard spammable amount such as Lava Whip or Veiled Strike. Enemies hit by this ability will their armor reduced by up to 1000.

    So hyped! Tnx for not forgetting us ZoS 🥰
    Crystal Shard:

    Reduced the cast time of this ability and its morphs to 800ms, down from 1 second.
    Reduced the damage done from these abilities by approximately 21%.
    Reduced the cost to 2700, down from 2970.
    These abilities have a new affix, where after successfully casting, your next non-Ultimate ability used within 3 seconds costs 10% less.

    Probably a good time to retire it for good. If memory serves, this is now the 3rd nerf the skill has received, and the trade off of reduced time/cost isn't worth it.

    I'm also not happy they're replacing the first 2 traits of Tarug's Pact, replacing crit for armor. For new sorcs learning the game, this is one of the easiest set pieces to apply to staves early on to help combat the gross power creep this game keeps introducing with every patch.

    I recently started a new game on the PS4 and I have completely forgotten how horrible the game design is without CP points. The power creep is real, and it's atrocious.

    I now see why so many new players leave the game.

    Crystal Blast + Crushing Weapon + Snipe + Lightattack + Silver Shard/Bow ulti/Soul assault -> Everything hits at once -> Instakill

    I prefer the stamDK version that uses molten armaments though. A heavy attack is just feels more satisfying, even if it's just worse.

    Other than that I don't see this skill being used, ever. So I guess this is a nerf to sorcs hardcasting frags from keep walls.

    Anyways, unrelated but bring back the crystal frags stun. The ability feels empty without it. It's still jarring when I get hit by them and am not knocked down.

    The crystal weapon isn't that nice. YOu need to recast it before any attack and then cast the attack afterwards, it disrupts rotation so much. If it had a time like Momentum or something then maybe you could use it, but like that it just slows down Burst rotations.
