Crystal Blast (morph): This ability has been reworked into a Stamina morph, and renamed to Crystal Weapon. It is now an instant-cast ability that causes your next Light or Heavy Attack made within 4 seconds to deal additional damage, equal to the standard spammable amount such as Lava Whip or Veiled Strike. Enemies hit by this ability will their armor reduced by up to 1000.

It doesn't have the proc Crystal Fragments does, so what's the benefit?

If it does good damage, and can be ACed its faster combat. Thats whats been bugging me for a long time, dizzy swing so slow

Though I am saddened that a nice niche magsorc bomb skill leaves the game, stamsorc really deserved another stamina morph. Now lets hope it will be good enough to slot!

If it is just a reskin I will be annoyed that I wasted time closing all those stupid rifts to level up the Psijiic skill with my sorcerer. There is the Psijic orb secondary but it only does minimal damage. So likely I will never use crushing weapon.

Or on a bow build... crystal wep, crushing weapon, snipe, light attack + silver shard.

You can. But you forgo weaving then. Only worth it on "ganks".

This skill is basically just crushing weapon seems lazy. I hate the animation of these skills, too clunky to actually use.

I also dislike the clunkiness of crushing weapon. I wish they would just make this new crystal weapon a normal instant cast ability.

I'm already drooling thinking about the passive healing of the dark magic passives plus crit surge...

Hopefully the animation doesnt suck.

This is a nice change. Now if only they'd give templars a few more skills that have stamina morphs.

I’m not entirely sure about this skill. Feel it would make more sense to be a melee skill. But I guess it’s probably to compliment bound armor builds.

Ya, it kind of looks like it just gives an “empower” type buff to next light/heavy attack and minimal reduction to enemies armor. I guess it depends on how much damage is added to the next light/heavy attack to determine if it’s worth using. If it also does some sort of damage then will be op.

It's nice getting more stamina morphs on the base game classes. Not sure if I will end up using it, but it's still damn nice stamsorcs get at least 1 more class ability they can use.

I like the look of it but I'll never use it. I never use the stam psijic spammable because it's too clunky to use in combat. It's a shame they decided to do this for the long awaited stamsorc spammable.

I'm more curious for PetSorcs with these two changes:

Daedric Summoning
All pets from this skill line now use a hybrid of your Spell Damage and Max Magicka, rather than purely Max Magicka. This change was done to reduce the total power of these abilities when stacking a singular stat.
Necropotence: Reduced the Magicka granted while a pet is active to 3132, down from 3150.

If the changes will have impact on the set use...I farmed a lot for mine.
