Crystalized weapons has the same animation as elemental weapons, yet looks and sounds a lot cooler.
By the way, you can stack crystalized weapons and crushing weapons together and have them hit together.Hello Stamsorc Overload Snipers and dizzying swing spammers. Perhaps it should be considered to only have crystalized weapons work with melee attacks.
Thanks ZOS for a [snip] stam sorc spammable that no one will use. At least give us a whole new animation. What a joke.

At least it looks pretty legit. But yes, if you're gonna rip off an ability, at least do it like you did with Bound Armaments ZOS...
I must have strange tastes, because that looks horrible to me.ESO_Nightingale wrote: »Crystalized weapons has the same animation as elemental weapons, yet looks and sounds a lot cooler.

the only thing that is the same with bound armaments is the proc condition.

How do floaty shards translate into more damage with a weapon? I would have expected the weapon itself to become crystalline.
Wasn't Crystal Fragments changed to be a spammable in this very same PTS patch?
It's funny how in their attempts to make something original, ZOS end up copying other skills and it's never the skills players actually want.
Almost nobody likes Elemental/Crushing Weapon, especially in PvP, they could have just copied a skill people actually like, like Surprise Attack and people would be satisfied. Make it materialize a crystal blade instead and add one of their little stack games ZOS like so much to differentiate it from SA (something like 3 consecutives hits triggers a crystal explosion that deals small bonus damage and removes X amounts of armor).
