I really think that's mostly just bad luck. As rare as it is, any RNG can potentially result in a really long lose streak. Me and several friends have gotten the Ebon wolf, and all of us had at least 2-3 pieces that for some reason just seemed to not want to drop. For one of my friends it was Volenfell and Rkundzelft, for me it was Bthzark. My friend got her piece from like the second beetle she killed right outside. Me, I spent probably 4 or so hours farming the area before it finally dropped. On the other hand the first time we did Volenfell I got mine, and then we ran it well over a dozen more times before she got hers.

But yes, 30 runs for the dungeons does seem excessive, because unlike all the other leads you can't stand there are farm it as it respawns, you've got to re-do the entire dungeon again. I think those drop changes should be higher, with an increase in chance to get them with every failed attempt, maybe maxing out at 100% chance after like 10 tries or something.

Volenfell was 12 runs for me. DS 1and 2 I got in 2 runs. One of the delve bosses took me about 8 kills too but other then that I was very lucky.

4 man dungeons leads I have done so far all took between 15 and 20 runs.....

Now let's discuss the music box lead that drops from a safebox, I am burning through lock picks like never, ever before!!

Last night I opened over 100 safe boxes in an area where friends said they had, had sucess, nothing, nada, zilch except for an inventory full of stolen items!

I think I have opened in excess of 400 boxes in total now.😱
