first time im hearing this but havent tested - seems obviously a bug, I would open a bug report and post it in the bug section of the forum

it COULD be that it doesnt proc from blood for blood in case the game counts this as a health ability and not a magicka ability...?

And.. to proc Caluurion, it needs to be a DIRECT crit damage. And Vampire Drain is a channel, so not a Direct damage ability (use skills that are buffed by Master At Arms, then you will proc it for sure.)

ESO doesn't seem to have any right rules for direct damage. The first tick off some dots is direct damage for example. Biting jabs is a channel and propped by master at arms, as another.

Many of these can be confusing to new people especially and many proc sets has to try yourself on what they work with and cannot often trust the description of them.

Yeah, was confusing that Sweeps/Jabs was both channel and direct damage and was earlier buffed by Thaumaturge and now Master at Arms. Yet it still kinda acts as both and sometimes not work on proc sets one would expect it to work with.

I mean, one would assume also set like Nerien'eth to proc with Sweeps, but no matter how much spammed during testing it did not. Been a while since tested so not sure if they fixed that.

To OP, best way to proc (especially if you are not a NB that can force crit with Cloak, that has also been buggy for some time, does not always crit with cloak also btw) Caluurion is Force Pulse/Crushing Shock.

And since it can only proc every 10 seconds,it is best to be put on just one bar so can then proc from there as part of a burst combo at right moment instead of all the wrong moments it can proc if 5p active all the time. In pvp i mean if the initial gank does not kill the target but you end up on a longer fight, then better to be able to control the Caluurion proc time exactly when you want by having it on 1 bar only. Just use Crushing Shock at that bar to proc it, old and proven way of making it work like a charm.

Edit: Farming Caluurions Inferno staff for single barring it can be rng nightmare though if not one of those lucky people who get it on their first run.

Also, i am sad that Caluurion not work with Malacath since it needs a crit hit. Err.. i mean i am sad for a friend who would like it to work. *Cloaks away before any cheese master comments are said about Malacath and proc sets*
