Hi, I’ve played the ESO for more than 2 years and I appreciate all the friendly players I’ve ever encountered and diligent (well, mostly?) devs who heed our feedback in the forum. Here are some of my suggestions, though not desperately needed, to make the game juicier to play. I do not visit the forum often, so excuse me if others have proposed these before.
I.NPC Followers
Since the ESO is solo-friendly, maybe we could step a bit further: To introduce a new follower system, similar to that of those NPCs sent along as an ally to us in many quests, to all players who have reached a certain level or game stage.
There could be a Follower panel sides with Journal, Map, etc. on the menu, or varies according to followers specifically, where you can decide their gears, skills(different from player’s), attribute point distribution, tactics of engagement and so on.
However, such a new system may burden the server and players with additional data, so when it comes to trials, alliance war, PVP battleground, etc., it should be disabled. Also, like all the pets, they should not have a collision volume.
II.NPCs at Home
I remember when I once invited Mother to check my Daggerfall Castle(she loves watching me play TESO, although English is alien to her lol), ‘It looks nice but deserted,’ she said, ‘Where did all your servants and guests go, like a gardener, a retainer, a handmaid?’
Yes, as some of you may have already suggested, your big house still seems lifeless even with all of your 3 assistants fulfilled and your pets sprawled. More NPC helping hands are needed, and if we can set their AI routes, it will be legendary.
III.Achievement Exhibition
I don’t want to sound too elitist, not in a conspicuous way, at least. But for some who love achievement gathering, flaunting achievement points showed beside their names in guild/friend lists might just please them.
Thanks a million for reading. Feel free to leave what you think so, maybe, we will have the devs notice this.
