But a Magicka DPS nowadays? If your a Vampire that proc condition is handed to you on a silver platter. Yet the damage type they chose scales off Stamina...very weird decision, and not one I am in favor with

Actually all the time, Balance from mages guild and Altar from undaunted.

Thats fair, If a tank needs the sulf sustain or a group needs the lifesteal yes. But I still cant wrap my head around it though, why would a tank use this over any of the more popular tanking sets? Its written as a somewhat selfish damage choice (assuming it spawns at your location, need to do PTS testing to see) So unless you have a stamina dps hugging you as youre tanking (Which in my experience, rarely ever heard of) I dont see alot of point to it...but this is all just theorizing right now, PTS starts monday and it will be 5 weeks available of testing!
I guess they believe that vampire can be useful for anything except first skill. Maybe they think there are plenty of vamp tanks around?

that's ironic because this set works real well with the vamp's first ability

Well, it does have 30 seconds cooldown, so doesn't exactly require spammable to function.

There are other new gear sets (that haven't been revealed yet) which will be in Monday's PTS patch notes.

Nope, it has a 10 second cooldown.
The major maim is on a 30 second cooldown.

Did miss this, my fault. Well, now it is seem pretty weird, so is it a damage set or tank set? Why two different cooldowns, why disease and major maim? I have so many questions and no one to answer me.

What in Y'ffre's name is this? o.0
And how they both cater to a tanking play style when the vampire skill line is not a tanking line.
