Where is my Palomino horse armor shown in previews?

I bought the horse because it had the armor on the head but its not showing in game. All 4 preview screens CLEARLY show the armor on the head so why is it not in game?

    All horses start without armour. Their appearance changes depending on what you feed them.

    Interesting, so what do you need to feed your horse to get armor then?

    I wasn't aware of this , learn something new every day.

    I knew about feeding for the inv space or speed or stamina, but didn't realise it also affects the look

    my horse on beta gained armor at various levels, i think 25 or 30 ig got armor on its haunches and then 50 it got the head armor.

    Excellent, thanks for the info. Mines only been fed for 5 days which explains why I hadn't noticed

    How did you manage to get a level 50 horse during the betas, when 1 horse level takes 20 hours?

    Just curious, what were you feeding your horse? I thought it got armor as you increased its stamina, not automatically as it reached certain levels.

    Speed gives different saddle look. Such as screenshot. From what I saw in previews on Imperial horse, bag space space will add saddle bags. Stamina will add the armor. My saddle changed at 35% speed. I'm assuming the other stat features change at the same relative amount of skill points.

    There was a full time Beta going in addition to the weekends. They wouldn't have been able to properly test higher level content otherwise.

    (Yes, I realize the irony inherent in the use of the word 'properly' with regard to the Beta, given all of the issues we've seen thus far since launch. :p )
