Question about Maw of the Infernal

I use the set often. I love watching the gator appear and run in breathing fire.
I just did a dungeon as a tank and someone else had the set. That damned deadroth would appear right in front of me blocking the view of the boss. Got killed twice because of that. Is that normal?

Yep. It can be really bad in trials now with 8 dps running it, and you're trying to see an incoming heavy attack or something.

It happens. You need to adjust for when it does get in your way.

Edit: Valhalla is correct about trails. There are some fights the tank needs to really pay attention for a block or dodge roll.

Meh, they should give the gator an AI that prioritizes attacking from behind.

Welcome to what the tank sees every time someone uses the set.

There's an addon that makes all your group members invisible so you can see what's happening better. I think it also invisifies flame puppies.

It's a spawn issue mostly. The daedroth will behave like most pets and attack from a position that is the easiest to get to. For some reason the monster set proc spawns it in front of the target, if they would have it spawn behind instead it would severely reduced the problem
