Why do people compare this to Stuga. Pick up her quest and she never bothers you again, these NPCs tho....

The problem with Stuga is not her words, but the fact that she stalks you all over the place. At the least the other two are rooted in one place and easier to avoid.

Ha try starting a new character and be haunted by Bera till you say ffs yes I'll go to wrothgar just to shut her insistent whining and following you through various towns over the map.

    Hasn't been updated since 2016.

Everything in there should still works conceptually. Might update it when later this week.

Or how about devs staying true to their own lore /logic /continuity and making those npcs only appear after you've actually unleashed the dragons by doing the Elsweyr prologue quest?

Still not as annoying as Curtaros singing in Alinor crafting area but I totally agree.

If you finish the first Northern Elsweyr story quest A Rage of Dragons they go away.

I must be bugged then. I hear it whenever I visit Mournhold with my character who has completed everything to do with Elswyer, both Northern and Southern.

And I'm on PS4, so no mods to wish it away.

The Murkmire lady, the Northern Elsweyr people, and the Fighter's Guild woman need to all be sent to the deepest, darkest pits of Oblivion.

    They're cool...leave them alone

Yeah, I think it'd be cool if there were some sliders or something for this in game. Some people might like it, but it can really be intrusive. Thankfully I can just walk away from those guys vs the NPCs that just follow you around. I had my Greymoor quest climax interrupted by the Fighter's Guild quest giver barking at me. I get they're trying to make it an immersive and self-explanatory world, but it's just too much noise after a while.

Use volume sliders. They don't annoy most people and would probably be messed up to the point it messes with new players' experiences.

More customizable volume sliders yes, muting NPCs altogether (Unless it's AN OPTION as in, slider etc..) then I don't agree.

I know, the characters that have completed Els do not have them when I do writs. The characters that have done some of Els but not completed it, also do not have them when I do writs. The characters that have not even touched that story have them standing next to the writ board.

I'd be guessing those NPCs go away after starting that quest line. It is like an advertisement to get people to buy Els.
