How does the scaling of values work for sets in general. I am referring to the 5set piece bonuses where you can obtain extra spell damage , magicka , recovery ,...
Usually gold or purple sets give your more stats than blue or green
But ...
How is it scaled in general. Is the value of the extra perks limited to the worst level of your gear? So if you have 4 purple items and 1 green of that set ... are the extra amount of stats leveled to green ? Or is it an average of the 4 purple and 1 green?

Skelfish✭✭✭It's roughly scaled based on how many of a particular color you have. 4 gold and 1 purple scales to something like 3/4 of the gold value. 2 purple, 1 blue and 1 green is somewhere around normal blue levels, but not fully. IIRC there is actually a forum post where someone calculated how the stat scaling worked for mixed quality items, just need search to cooperate so I can find it.1
