Well the two most requested according to devs are Battlemage and Monk so I think those two classes will be next. I also have a feeling a new weapon may accompany them as well as I can't see them making sense without it.

id say battlemage, monk and bard
but bard might as well be implemented with a cool buff/debuff skill line...which i was hoping for this chapter but well...
ZOS usually eludes to what is coming in the next chapter in the present one.
The year of the Dragon talked a great deal of Skyrim, especially in Dragonhold DLC.
Naturally I've been paying attention to any detail that could jump out at me to give any hint as to what is coming around the corner for the next chapter, so far in Skyrim I'm yet to find any conversation about any zones, but given half the NPC's are lesbians, the next class will probably be the lesbian. Make it happen ZOS.
Literally nothing that would make sense in this game, we already have the typical classes. [...]
Looks like you have never played any of the original The Elder Scrolls titles, otherwise you'd have realized by now how utterly stupid your comment is.
Battlemage was a planned class that didn't make it like the Warden back then. Would be nice to see it come to life with the next chapter:
Battlemage:
- Alteration: Tanking skill tree
- Destruction: Offensive skill tree with destruction spells that change depending on the weapon equipped (Ice staff makes them do Frost damage, melee weapons and bow makes them do Physical damage, etc...)
- Restoration: Healing skill tree
And a personal choice: the Witchhunter To smite evil whereever it lurks
Witchhunter:
- Death from afar: Offensive skill tree with projectile weapons like crossbows (like Silver Leash), throwing knives/axes,...
- Enemy knowledge: Tanking skill tree with Conjuration/Necromancy spells, protect yourself by using their arcane knowledge against them
- Mystic hunter: Support/Healing skill tree with Mysticism spelsl and Alchemy
"Stand strong, stay true and shelter all." Tryxus - Guardian of the Green - Warden - PC/EU
My expectations for next year's skill lines would be:
New class:
- Bard.
- Battlemage.
- Monk.
New weapons ESPECIALLY magicka focused FFS:
- Bare hands / knuckle / rune-spellcrafting.
- Magicka based tanking line so we can get our ice destros BACK.
- Wand and totems.
If any of this gets added ZOS can bet I'll be pre-ordering next year's chapter even now!
Do y'all remember the surveys released a couple months ago?
One of the options was "How much interest do you have for a new race"
Assuming lot's of people voted for high interest, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a new Race next year, breaking the Class/Skillline/class/skilline thing they're going for.
Now. What they do for the race, is what could make the community either very happy, or very unhappy.
They can't do anything too special, so my beloved Lamia won't be a race.
However something like the Kothringi, Maormer maybe even goblins would be a "nice" introduction. Idk what they can do. But having a new look would be great. I just don't want "human" or "elf", I'd prefer a new Beast race for a chapter which will probs cost more than £40.
Hell i'd love to see Lilmothiit, having more Stam/Sustain/Damage related passives. Being as competitive for Orcs, suffering more a slight on sustain, but excelling in DPS for both PvE and PvP ganking and one shots.
Or if that's way too close to Khajiit, even though they're both Mag/Stam focused. What if they made the Foxes Excel at healing? Could help out with Soloing etc.
