    Alliance lock hurts PvP

When alliance lock was in place, people at least tried really hard to reclaim the home keeps and their scrolls. Currently at least in my campaign, AD and EP are sitting completely idle.

Currently AD has retaken one of their scrolls, while EP has successfuly defended theirs, both pushing DC right at this moment.

People did nothing to defend or take back their keeps or scolls during locked campaigns when they were outnumbered. It was all about PvDoor from AD in the moring/during the day, and PvDoor from DC in the night.

While there are some players who swap to the overpopulated side now, there are also some that do the opposite. Overall there is much more back and forth and actual fighting instead of PvDoor and completely one-coloured maps for hours.

Current state reminds me of Cyrodiil from 2-3 years ago, when everyone was flocking to the red side. DC at that point were usually sitting with one keep 90% of the time. Did you feel like it was fair back then?

Current state of Cyro is nothing like back then.

Edit: And now we have AD zerging the map with the hammer. If you truly want players to defend and fight, maybe you should ask for a removal of the hammer, because that thing is actually contributing to a lot of imbalance and PvDoor.

I would support alliance lock, but with the option to switch once per campaign length, for the cost of all your progression (incl ap and titles) you done. So later in the campaign to change alliance would cost you more then at the beginning.

Alliance lock is healthy for PvP

My only beef with the Alliances in general is that my characters themselves are locked into Alliances. I just wish at the beginning of every month I could decide what Alliance I wanna play on and be locked into that.

It's a pain in the butt to remake the same character all over just because I wanna play in a different Alliance.

I made my first character six years ago. My AD peeps are gone, all I wanna do is play with my NB in EP with my new guild but I'm forced to level a new character, and that's not a enjoyable experience.

Zos provided an alliance change token just for this purpose.

Holy smokes. I've been gone for a while and didnt even notice they did this.

    Thanks :D
