Maintenance for the week of July 27:
• NA megaservers for maintenance – July 27, 6:00AM EDT (10:00 UTC) -11:00AM EDT (15:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – July 27, 10:00 UTC (6:00AM EDT) - 15:00 UTC (11:00AM EDT)

Please developers do something, it's a disaster.

This game is in terms of disaster optimization and nightmare
Fps crashes, ripping animations, server lags
This is no longer normal and I have i9-9900KS, 2080Ti and more
The game is unplayable, they should temporarily disable this game and fix any deficiencies.

Why the hell would they need to shutdown the servers to work on a fix .. ?
It does not make any sense ..

Because that's how online games work. Some fixes are client-side, some server-side, some both. Besides, servers and clients generally needs to be the same game version in order to work properly, hence the need to shut the servers down and update them, just as clients do as well.

BTW, I'm also having lots of freezes in dungeons, trials and arenas. Hope that they don't get past June 29's patch. If not, I'm gonna be truly pissed.

Honestly, major fixes probably wont come unless there is a significant change to the revenue stream. For all we know, there may be a team of devs pulling their hair out in frustration, but its a safe bet the people who are controlling the company finances are looking at the cost/benefit analysis, nodding sagely and pushing on ahead with the next flashy new thing.

Should they stop with new content and fix the base game? A resounding yes. Will they.....?

    I repeat :

Why the hell would they need to shutdown the servers to work on a fix .. ?

If the fix was already there, they'd have applied it already.
If they still have to develop it, why the hell should they disable the game ? They have test servers, for that.

Asking for it is like saying painting the server room blue will decrease the lag.

I was in a delve last night and several of the draugr in it just became immune to all damage and the UI disabled all the attack commands in the middle of fighting a whole room full of them. It didn't "fix" itself until I ran away to the other side of the dungeon.

There are a ton of NPCs in the game with no recorded dialogue, some with dialogue but no lip sync, and others where the dialogue isn't matching the subtitles.

It's almost like they accidentally copied in an early wip version of the game when the release date hit.

I don't see the problem. I never had lag, neither fps nor ping, when buying things from the crown store.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

That's is not how online games work. They first have to figure out a fix. Then develop the fix. Then you shut down the servers and install hardware or code update for the fix. So it is not until that last part that the servers need to come down. Clearly Zos has not determined the fix so it would not make sense to shut the game down until they do.

Don't be silly. Everyone knows pea-green painted walls do that, not blue.
    Jeez.

They actually do better to keep the servers on sort of like they did the first week of update 26 launch where they tried fixing things almost every day with maintenance. Seeing it under stress when back online gives more feedback

Problem there is people complain about downtime and it seems they have an agreement with Google to do no more than every 2 weeks. And it seems after the first month of an update, if that; they pull all resources toward the next update. All these impact the bottom line to change

Omnissiah, thus do I enter the Trials of Greater Knowledge.

May I be blessed with success so i might continue to learn and ascend closer to your divine brilliance

May my memory, recall, intuition, and understanding be unerring in my hour of need

May my labors in your name not be wasted by failure on this day

May my teachers be proud of my performance, and my rivals envious

May the Motive Force guide my judgement where my own knowledge falls short

May I honor you, and bring you pride, for my efforts to understand the knowledge asked of me by your higher servants

Bless your faithful on this day, Machine God

May I never be found wanting in your gaze

Granted. But there is a difference between a highschool football team and the Patriots. And yes its all baseless speculation on team compositions and sizes. And there is likely greater pool of support/manpower/money for one of the teams.

;) 2 people can make a team afterall

That makes no sense. You see the people developing the content and the people running down bad code are playing for the same team. You wouldn't ask the offense to just go out there and punt on first down because the defense needs to get better.

I just got out of BGs. Im running i7 8700, 32 GB high performance RAM, GTX 1070, 1 TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2. I am having bad desync issues in BGs. Targets highlighted, button is lit up. Shows me pressing the key on screen. Nothing is happening im just standing there. FPS is 60-80, ping is 60-150 sec. Desyncs every 15-60 seconds.

Heh. For some reason that reminded me of a plaque I had in my old house that read something like "On this site in 1683, nothing happened."

I like this game, but the current state is unbearable and unplayable.
I'm looking forward to playing, turning on the game and turning it off after five minutes.
I haven't experienced another game that is broken like this one.

The suits don't care. They waited until the EU server was consistently on fire before their "performance improvement plan", which has been underwhelming..

Check out the crown store though!
