Runestone nodes "stealth nerfed"?

Been wondering lately, if runestone nodes have been changed? Been collecting all that i see, and only getting white ones and rarely a green one.

No blue, purple or yellow ones, that i used to get occasionally during pre-access and maybe a week after the launch. Just "bad luck" does not cover it anymore, methinks..

I'm logged off for the night but today I saw green, blue and at least one purple rune from a node. L1 - 2 range, so kinda low level on the character I was on.

One green today so far. been playing for 7 hours straight. Only difference indeed is, that im playing higher level areas now. Think i got pretty much all of the purples and yellows (well, the 4-5 per sort that i only have currently) from areas under lvl15 or so.

Started a new DC character, found a yellow (legendary ?kuta?) runestone on the starter island.

(although you could argue that that's insane anyway)

    Drops are the same.

    RNG is RNG.

My point exactly.. early areas are the ones ive gotten thme too. But none on the later areas. Makes one wonder..

And RNG.. just does not seem to random them numbers right.

I am afraid that I have to agree. So far, according to my notes (I have been adding markers to a paper map) I have found a far greater number of green+ aspect runes in Bleakrock than I have in either Stonefalls or Deshaan.

I don't have data on Bal Foyen as I couldn't find my map that day.

I just took both my main and my alt harvesting. I was primarily after water and alchemy ingredients for the alt, who is 22 alch level 23 sorc(took 48 dk to get water in shadowfen and eastmarch). Grabbed all runes I found.

Deshaan gave me 3 rekuta, 3 denata and 4 jejota as well as ta. Eastmarch gave my dk 2 rekuta, 3 denata and 1 jejota. Tons of 5 and 6 squares too.

Mage seems to find more aspect runes(she was in Deshaan). No enchanting. DK is 22 enchanter.

I got a whole bunch of blue aspect runes and at least two purple tonight in Stonefalls. No nerf as far as i can tell.

This would support the theory, that lower level areas drop more of the better ones.
