Damage scales with the formula: (Crit Chance X Crit Dmg) + 1
Note this is relative to DPS with no crit (formula goes to 1 if either crit chance or crit dmg is 0).
Where crit damage starts at 50% and increases more with things like Major and Minor Force, class passives, Elfborn CP and the Shadow Stone.
So for example if you had base crit damage (50%) and 70% crit chance, and wanted to compare Thief and Shadow it would be:
Thief
((70% + 10.6%) X 50%) + 1 = 1.403
Shadow
(70% X (50% + 19%)) + 1 = 1.483
So in this example Shadow is more DPS than Thief by 1.483/1.403 = 5.7%. This is a pretty extreme example, the 2 will usually be closer than this because most builds have another ~20% crit damage from CP’s and 10% from Minor Force.
I've been asking for critical damage and critical rate Jewelry Glyphs for years...
Since we already have Spell damage and Weapon damage Jewelry Glyphs, we could use more offensive options.
No idea why is ZO$ is taking so long.
