Antiquities - Gold item completely excavated says failed

Completely uncovered the Gold Item Symbol of Y'ffre (see image) however it just kept running until time ran out saying I failed the excavation.

Batgirl32✭✭✭Finally worked … It seems as though chests placed on diagonals require you to uncover areas that do not have part of the image included. Image below has the chest fully uncovered plus once I uncovered the one square at the north point above the chest it finally said it was uncovered.

Here is a sort of solution I've found to take the guess work out of it and give you extra time to look for the bonus loot. I thought they would've finally fixed it in last night maintenance but I guess not

CuetnguyenSoul ShrivenThis is a common issue. Ty Scritchel for pointing out the work around. I think location of box misaligned with dig location. Item can be still 1/2 covered and register as found.

Gandamir✭✭✭Adding a few more screenshots of a single dig, where the item was not uncovered, yellow over the item, and finally excavated. Graphics are not lining up.

redroguegambitSoul ShrivenI had the same problem twice. I sent in a report but havent received any reply. Am I suppose to excavate more area? I mean it looks pretty exposed to me. Please fix this! Its such a waste of time looking for these items, finding them and then a bug that wont let you have the item (especially since this is a Gold item which is even more of a pain to get)

Xychon✭✭Not sure if you can see it clearly but there's a sparkly outline of the item you're digging for. If you uncover the sparkly parts, you'll succeed.
