Dear developers, I beg you to add the option to turn off red flashes over the heads of enemies when they detect a player. I've been playing ESO for a year now, but I haven't been able to get used to this anime feature.

(Phew, how hard it is for me to write in English)
By maximum realism, I mean that fantastic things can be justified, magic is unexplored energy, vampirism is a disease that originally appeared with the help of magic (unexplored energy).
I’m ready to accept such things, because we don’t have all the universal knowledge, red flashes can also be explained by some special instincts of the player, but I don’t need such instincts, I understand perfectly well when I’m noticed.
I turned off the compass, GPS, target indicator, enlarging the map, etc., but I can’t turn off the flash using mods, only developers can add this setting, and everyone will be happy - both hobbyists and hardcore enthusiasts.

There is no difference, in any game there should be the most flexible settings that satisfy the preferences of any player.CMDR_Un1k0rn wrote: »It's an MMO.
But moving in that direction and it really upsets me.robertthebard wrote: »At least they didn't go the Metal Gear route, with the exclamation point and little "Surprise" sound byte eh?
This is a very bad summation.Very good summation.

I would love to disable auto-targeting of magic, but so that the npc does not have it, too, but this choice will not appear, so I do not even ask for it, but the option to disable flash, it's such a simple thing, I'm sure it will not take the developers a lot of time (just a few minutes).tinythinker wrote: »I for one would love to have the option to turn off combat music.

Some conventions are in any game and they are even necessary, but there are also elements that are just unnecessary for some players, such as subtitles, illuminated loot, fire/grenade pointer, etc., it should be possible to disable such elements, and almost every game has it, because, first, it affects the enjoyment of the gameplay, and secondly, it is just another check mark in the settings (or even 1/0 in the config file), which does not require any changes to the engine or writing huge scripts. In ESO, you can disable the contour of enemies, but for some reason you can not disable red flashes, although this is a redundant element, because the enemy's behavior makes it clear that he noticed the player.
This is very sad, as well as almost instant respawn of enemies, and the inability to slow down the speed of game time (in TES, I always set timescale to 1), and a lot of things I would like to change. It is a pity that the developers did not support the tradition of TES, with its relatively calm and fairly realistic gameplay with an emphasis on dialogues - this would be ideal for fans of TES and prefer the pve part of the game with well-developed quests and a deep plot.CMDR_Un1k0rn wrote: »Telegraphed attacks don't strike me as realistic at all.

But even now, thanks to the interface mods, I sometimes have the same feelings that I had in Morrowind, for example, a masochistic high from disorient and a long search for the goal of the quest. With these mods, I like TES online more than, for example, Skyrim, although there are many more mods for it, but there is not such a variety of locations, and the presence of people and the ability to communicate with them makes the world of TES online more alive, although sometimes this fuss is out of place.
You probably didn't understand me (presumably due to the fact that I use a Google translator ), I've been following the ESO since its release, just waiting for it to be polished and more content will appear (I like to watch TV series in one gulp, or when I'm completely impatient, at least when a few seasons will come out. A teaspoon an hour is torture for meCMDR_Un1k0rn wrote: »I am going to assume you're new to the game, going by your forum join date and evident misunderstanding of MMO mechanics.
But not a JRPG either.

You will be able to be called a muthsera, only after you play in Daggerfall and Morrowind.Kiralyn2000 wrote: »Not sure if I qualify as a "fan" - only played MW, Oblivion, and Skyrim (modded & unmodded) multiple times.
For you, no, for me, yes. Let's not argue. No, it is not.
