PC megaservers catering Stadia and bi-monthly incremental updates?

As Gina said here. What everyone thinks of this change?

Not necessarily bad, but 2 concerns came to mind:

1. Quest or item related fixes will be delayed for at least 1 week. And if the fix doesn't work, wait for 2 more weeks. Sigh. In the past (as of now), we got many core issues sorted quite fast after major patch releases. In fact, I consider next 2-3 weeks essential after a major patch. Not sure whether those bi-weekly patches will be fatter with the fixes or whether the quality of these will be better due to more time?

3. PC EU at least seems extremely high populated. Adding Stadia crowd raises my eyebrows. Will they stress the servers even more or at the same level as the regular PC player?

@ZOS_GinaBruno Can you please elaborate these, should I/we be concerned or no? :) Thanks.

We shouldn't be beholden to what the Consoles have to go through.
Not fond of this that means we have to wait for important fixes because of Stadia and I'm not to fond of that idea.

I'm not keen on it. I understand why console manufacturers insist on approving everything released on their systems and I realise their are benefits for players in doing that (like never needing to worry about viruses) but since I trust ZOS not to release anything worse than the occasional bug which crases the servers I'd rather not have all updates delayed for approval.

I suppose this means in future new releases will come out for all 3 platforms at the same time, instead of being released 2 weeks earlier on PC.

Pretty sure you're not going to get a reply to this as the other similar threads didn't. I don't know how it will be of course - since it's not 6/16 yet.

Please explain to me how Stadia works.

Is it just a subscription service that installs the game on your device?

There must be a virtual machine on the tablet/phone/etc in order to run ESO. In which case, how can performance be passable?

There is a Stadia crowd? But I can't wait to see how ESOs bad performance interacts with Stadias even worse performance.

To be fair, current performance is quite good after patching... hoping it will last.

The game stays in Google's Cloud. You purchase a Chromecast Ultra and a controller from Google, and it streams the game to your t.v. or movile device through the app. It basically just lets you play PC games without a computer or console.
