Every time I log in another character, the game crashes - 7 times now.

Thanks for providing that info! Please try the steps in this article to resolve the crashing that you are experiencing.

The big one on that list is running out-of-date add-ons, @Kazren.

Make sure your add-ons are disabled.

I did everything the support page said to do, and I did the repair twice because the same thing happend. Doing it the second time did not fix it. Now I cannot log a character in. It just freezes up or takes me back to the log in page. So now I can't even play.

Still broken, can't log a character into the game. Very coincidental this happened after two days of patches, though.

After multiple trys, I was able to log one character in, and since I don't want to go through this again, I'm staying on him all day.
