Having the same problem with a different one. The augur told me to dig in a different spot, that when I got to the bottom had nothing, just the sparkles. I found it in the last square to the left, but it's hard to tell which way to continue digging. Is this a LOLGFY that's how it's supposed to work or it is actually broken? I have overlaid two screenshots here to show the original augur locations as opposed to where I actually found something.

I've run into this issue many times and on my successful digs I've had to guess which tiles the game is considering to be the objective and digging based off of those. Definitely not working right.

Ye i dug up a gold lead and failed 3 times before i made it. And all them times it was fully uncovered on screen.

I was having fun with Antiquities until I got my first gold one, after an hour, with nothing, I think I am not going to do them any more.

IMHO is that this is how they made it difficult, with... If you uncover the item then its RNG with lowest possible payout as to if you get the item.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom are these bugged or is this the way its supposed to work??

Fffffff for FAIL. As in this is the WORST and buggiest launch in ESO history. I get that the pandemic has made thing difficult, but they’re not even responding to this thread!
