Mythic Item Excavations Are Improperly Aligned and Buggy

The actual places you need to excavate do not line up with the item whatsoever. Example:

I'm not sure if this is intended, but a few of us have speculated that it is a bug due to how utterly frustrating it is. Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you so much for this report. It isn't JUST the mythic item pieces. I also "failed" the excavation of Void Crystal Anomaly in Coldharbour after uncovering the entire chest. Which is where I was after I failed the excavation of the Face of the Wolf Beast 3x and reported it, now I can try to guess where the border is as in your screenshots

Previous difficulties were correctly aligned, but the green squares no longer accurately mark the Antiquity location and digging where the game tells us results in failed excavations. And the Mythic items can be uncovered by basically uncovering 'nothing' in the dirt, as the images above show.

This happened to me about 4 times... So frustrating and only on the mythic leads 🙄

This must have been what's happening to me. Getting desyncs with the maps as well where it tells me I'm not in the area when I am, or the scrying hint telling me to exit the area. (relogging fixes map issues usually it seems). But have also had a lot of trouble with any of the diagonally shaped treasures in the digs.

Here you can see the first one fails when the treasure and extra items are uncovered (though next attempt works fine when the item is uncovered the same or even less in some cases:

Hint telling me to head out of the area to find the dig spot when I'm on the edge already:

And several times it's told me I'm not in a scryable area when i'm well inside of it:

Am I the only one who gets kicked from scrying minigame sometimes? So frustrating as well! Yes because I also can't dig up gold leads!

Nope, I noticed this too. The board will randomly fade out without the ability to continue; I'll have no choice but to exit the mini-game and start all over again. Very annoying.

I'm having this issue as well!

I also sometimes I find the border of my scrying screen & the excavation screen rotate back and forth really quickly - like clockwise and anti-clockwise. I only managed to catch a video of it happening with the digsite:

Exactly. It actually happens a lot on my side. And you can't cancel the exit message because otherwise, the minigame just... disappears. You really have to restart entirely the minigame and hope for the bug to not come back.

I have a thread about this issue, a lot of other people have it too. Some are speculating it's when someone is fighting enemies around you, but I've had it happen in places where there aren't mobs or other players near me, and it also can vary in intensity from a barely-visible wiggle to a rotate so violent the screen practically twists at a 90 degree angle x__x. I'm not holding my breath that we'll get an answer about what causes it -or if there's a way to disable it- any time soon.

Is this issue going to be fixed in the June 3 Patch, or are you all going to put it off until June 29 or later? Wondering because Leads disappear after 30 days. So if your not going to fix it until June 29 that's a pretty hard slap in the face to your customers.

It isn't working right for the bonus items either. I had one fully uncovered and when it ended it said no bonus items found.

I had this today with both my purple leads on Khenarthi's Roost. Green and Blue lead dig sites were not affected. A /reloadui will "fix" the issue to allow you to use your augur to find the excavation site within the region.

I had a similar one, and apparently you need to uncover the far right corner, which doesn't make any sense, since the entire item is clearly visible.

Ugh I agree this is so annoying. At all the prior levels, the antiquity visually lines up with the boxes you need to excavate. Then suddenly it doesn't. It is very frustrating.

I havent been able to uncover a single mythic chest item due to the weird bugged areas and how the chest displays, 50 digs and no success ... on my screen the whole chest is uncovered...unplayable

Happened a lot of them and it is very frustrating. This was reported during PTS but never got fixed!
