This issue and others that were found on PTS by players for the past few cycles have been ignored.

For this reason it is the end of me doing any more testing on PTS. IMHO there is less and less players even on PTS each update, and those do use PTS are primarily checking their builds changes, and mechanics in new content, due to things that are found to be problems are ignored.

even getting leads for them is bugged i used over 2000 bait trying to get Bouyant Steel looks like a lot of stuff is bug

A /reloadui fixed this for me on one occasion. Try it and see if it fixes it for you.

P.S. - Make sure you /bug this, as they have made no statements to indicate that it is coming in Wednesday's patch.

Yeah, looks like the usual bug.

The workaround is to unearth the 'sparkles' not the actual chest or green squares. If you uncover the whole 'sparkly outline' that marks the actual location of the antiquity that will register as correct with the buggy system. Sometimes that means that you reach success by leaving a chest half buried and uncovering a shiny pile of nothing instead. But hey, as long as it gives us the item, it's a temporary solution while they fix the issue.

Its easy when you figure out that the game is focusing ob the blue twinkle and not the item itself

Exactly the same issue with some of the Dwarven wolf mount items, in particular the one in Western Skyrim.... I can unearth the chest - but it’s not a chest - or the mysterious ‘sparkles’ (like wth are they) - equally useless...

I mean this sort of garbage should not be happening, especially with the ‘flagship’ skill line.

Another example of shoddy development and non-existent testing and QA

u go for the sparkle the chest is a place holder just find the sparkles, the place holder has been put in the wrong place

Same diagonal box shape every time. Flips left or right, but that's all. Dig those Sparkles!

Works for met now 100% I have been grindind all day and not 1 was in wrong spot. use to get a 50% fail be4.

Yeah, this seems to be fixed now. No need to uncover one row on each side or such.
