Assuming Greymoor is still on track for a PC release tomorrow, 5/26, what options are left for those of us who pre-ordered the physical CE but won't be receiving them anytime soon?
I realize support may be overwhelmed at this time and it is also a holiday weekend, and therefore I am trying to be patient. I would just like some kind of acknowledgement/assurance I will be able to explore the new content with friends and guildmates tomorrow after work.
I submitted a ticket,
200521-001861 when I found a few posts here about this topic that directed those of us impacted to do so. However it has remained "under investigation" for days with no update. Amazon has no updates for me regarding any estimate of shipping, and it appears they do not have any live-support options currently.
If I do not hear anything by later this evening then I will consider my options, which is looking more and more like I will be forced to be at a loss of an extra (up to) $79.99 in order to purchase an additional digital upgrade. Given that, I have some questions:
- If it becomes necessary that I must purchase an additional, digital upgrade in order to participate in Greymoor, will any form of reimbursement/refund be possible when the physical CE key arrives?
- Would I be able to purchase the standard upgrade, and replace the digital upgrade with the physical CE key when it arrives and receive all of the bonus content, including pre-order exclusives? Or would I need to purchase the digital collector's upgrade (prior to maintenance this evening) to be safe?
