I know i'm gonna get haters, but hey...crap happens.

But 3.5 hours after server is taken down and no update about potential eta for reboot or any form of feedback other than "erm, it's broken and we don't know how long for"

just a little info is all i'm asking for..please!!!

    Yeah, I'm quitting this game for now. They had no business releasing this game in the sorry state it's in.

    Don't underestimate the impact of issues like these. They'll have to investigate what happened, figure out how to fix it, implement the fix(es), restart the systems, then test them, possible alter the fix(es), more testing, and eventually they can publicly reopen the servers... It takes time, it's frustrating I know, but this is simply how software development and maintenance works.

    This is very true but, unfortunately, many people either can't, or choose not to, understand and come to the forum for a mindless rant instead.

    Wont be up till after primetime, it's a capacity issue and they can't make more.

    They have done this several times now. When the server gets overpop and poops out, they just shut it down and wait for bedtime.

    Then turn it back on and all is well again till next prime weekend time.
    The number one rule of online gaming is now and has always been, Never play on Patch Day.
