There have been things i've been doing, optimizing my hard drive.
Deleting cache stuff here is a good video.

Here is another good guide I found as well for Fps.Doing some of the things mentioned in this article I'm linking down below here increased my fps output. Its actually better then before. Though Fps is still what many might cosnider crap its not as crap as it was. So its better crap. It does help and its noticeable when it comes to fps.

So I recommend doing as much as you can and regularly cleaning out caches. Also delete cookies in your browser and also use as a little latency trick ipconfig /flushdns in command prompt. Doing what is suggested in the article I linked see what works and helps fps.

This trick of yours when I tried it does seem to help with responsiveness and I did see some spikes where it can go up to like 45 fps or 70 fps more then I see when loading into areas so there is an impact with this. I do think it would help with repressiveness for lower end machines.
So I'm, glad you made this thread as this is good advice and don't let the doubters get to you as your trying to help people and people will be skeptic and doubtful by default so I do appreciate this post.

not to be the cynic but i would be careful messing with those if your not certain of how it works. I can't say for certain in this case but the "-1" value is usually used to tell the system to use all cores whereas any positive number would tell it to use a specific number of cores. Of course, i can't speak to the hows and whys of your specific experience but just thought I'd point that out so people know to be careful.

-0 would be to use all your system cores, depending on how the games coded im pretty sure, but in most games a "-0" means to use all of X (In this game X being cores)

Nah, one of the devs wrote in a post about their multi threading/core update, that 4 core machines should use -1, which I take is the switch to use all available cores. Setting it to 4 (positive) would be the same for a 4 core CPU.

Edit* Typically I could not find it. But while searching I found this thread with interesting comments by Alex Tardif who seems to be working on the CPU optimizations:

    Hello everyone,

This post is to let you know that we've felt it necessary to put this thread down, as it seemed to have died some time ago. At this time we'd like to try and keep Draugr threads from roaming around the front page, pushing down newer and more lively threads.

    Thank you for understanding!
