Issues with certain motifs. Should ZOS make Divine Prosecution and Dragonbone styles farmable?

No, they shouldn't give players abitlity to farm CE styles (explain).
    we can all agree

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think there has ever been a time that we have all agreed on something.

The poll clearly shows we do not all agree on this issue for certain.

Yes, they should give players ability to farm Divine Prosecution and Dragonbone style (make CE motifs farmable after one year).
Sure, why not? Especially since they've already done it with Morag Tong style and the other two arent craftable, so it would be nice if we could craft them. Also, those who bought CE's can apply those styles without any gold, so they still have some premium thing over the others. And I'm speaking as a guy who's got all of the CE styles.

Not going to explain as the poll option gives the explanation already.

There are tons of items that are exclusive to CE. That's why it's a "collectors edition".
    What's next, mounts? skins? costumes?

I don't really get this whole idea of "I paid money for this so everyone else should too" though. I might get why it'd be an issue if people would just get it as a daily reward or something, but what's wrong with working for it? You can get basically every motif ingame by farming it, even if it takes a while and you gotta do harder content to increase the drop chance. The ones that don't drop ingame will lucky still be available during anniversary events, but again you gotta be lucky with that. If not, you just go to the guild store and splurge, if that's your thing. I know for a fact that if that incentive is taken away and more motifs would solely be available in the Crown Store, it'd be a lot more boring lmao. The incentive to farm it would be gone and we all know MMOs are kept alive by that. I can't help the fact you guys actually paid cash for that lol
Well Zeni dont beleive in such things, hell look at the psijic home as the worst example that was a FREE home for those who were around for the event but last year they slapped it in the store with a 15,000 crown price tag.

they will realise the collectors bundle on its own as a upgrade (like they did for morrowind and summerset) but i dont think they will ever give them away anymore.

its a reward for people supporting the game by buying the CE

it would be pointless to make such rewards available to anyone...

Psijic villa one is very simple - during event this home was basically a lure for new players but they were kind enough not to leave their old customers out. Now it's just one more home. That's it.

the point still stands as why do it every summerset event to lure new players and the same can be said about the collectors being one more style.

I think difference is in the fact, that house was a lure to play (and cannot be reused to the same effect - by design of the event many players should already have it) and CE style is a lure to pay and can actually be resold indefinitely in a CE bundle because it was designed just to be sold, to be small item that sells whole bundle for someone and with every item taken away chances to sell bundle drop significantly

Edit: I mean, it's not about not making CE stuff available, it's about taking stuff out of bundle

When I bought Morrowind and it had the free conversion to Morag Tong, I thought that was good enough.

But if you perhaps get a master writ and have to make something in Morag Tong style, you still need that motif to make it. This conversion thing won’t work.

Oh yeah, it also binds whatever the item is to your account, so you can’t Craft and sell this stuff to style junkies or anything.

So I thought the way they do these things is certainly worthless.

I figured, they’re not gonna fool me twice on this thing, so with Summerset I decided I’m not gonna pay extra for some motif style that I’m gonna need to farm anyways. But they make Divine Prosecution a style you can only get by buying the Collectors Edition, no farming for it.

Wish I would had known that, but still irritated by the Morag Tong deal. Now the Dragonborne or whatever they got going on now. Well, you’re only looking at 2 or 3 styles, but they’ve done this in a very odd way.

I don't know about farmable as they aren't exactly the best looking. But they should at least be dye-able!

One way I could see this that would keep both per-order buyers and newcomers who missed out happy would be to create two different versions from the start of the expansion styles. A standard and deluxe version.

The deluxe version would be the shinier more intricate version. Initially it could be CE only, then added to the Crown Store after a year or two in the 5000 crown range.

The standard version could be less shiny and less intricate. Initially it could be in the Crown Store some time after launch at some price point less than the deluxe version, say 3000 crowns. Then farmable in-game for pages.

My family always gets the pre-order deluxe versions, but at least I would probably also buy a standard, less flashy one too in some cases. I was going to say "most" but with Greymoor, it's 50/50 for me. I use the Divine Prosecution style on some of my Altmer, and will use the Sword Thane on my Nord. But so far I've never used any piece of the Morag Tong or the Dragon Bone. (But I'm sure my son will use both sooner or later.)
