PS5 would first have to do very well.

Not sure if you are serious... or if the dry wit isn't carrying over through test. Playstation 4 has outsold every other console this generation - hands down. I hardly think Playstation 5 will have any trouble.

Yes, the difference in going from PS pro to PS5 is like going from PS4 to PS pro, only difference is that games had to support PS4 basic even then Pro was out. An PS5 game don't have to support PS4 but will do if PS4 can run it.Rogue_Ghost wrote: »Nothing about the actual game will need to be changed, so the gen shift should happen without an issue. The servers will be there and unless they plan on rebuilding the engine for a graphic overhaul (highly unlikely - at least, any time soon) - so it should be as simple as loading up ESO on the new console and signing in.
Although I do plan on getting next gen as soon as it launches myself, there is always a bit of a delay between launch date and solid title releases to go along with the new hardware. Having ESO come along for the ride, as is, would be just fine and a welcome option right off the bat.
I guess you could also keep the old PS4 at an secondary location like at your parrents while keeping the PS5 at your dorm at university and play on PS4 then back at them.dcam86b14_ESO wrote: »What ?
all you need is an eso account and then you download the game and bam all your stuff is there.
Maybe the ps5 will have cross play

I think we found our time traveler from 1995.
Hey bud, first; welcome to the future! We have flying cars and robots that do all of our chores! I jest of course, cars don't fly!
A lot has happened since you came to this year; as you know the PS1 just came out and has shipped about 100 million units, PS2 was released in 2000 and shipped 150 million units, the PS3 in 2016 and shipped less than a million (womp, womp), and finally the PS4; that was released 2016 and sold 106 million units.
Oh and Microsoft (yeah i know) developed their own console system called the Xbox. It's okay, not nearly as popular as the PS4. If you have any questions, ask away and I'm sure someone will help

PS3 launched in 2006, not 2016. PS4 launched in 2013.
PS4 Pro launched in 2016.
