Character Can't Attack or Interact

I've been intermittently having this problem where my character, in the middle of playing -- usually a boss fight, suddenly can't attack or interact with anything in the world. He can only walk very slowly and block. Sometimes /reloadui fixes it, other times I have to logout of the game completely. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Yep, had a similar thing happen to me many times. I can usually regain control by pressing <Esc> to go to the menu, then back to game screen.

    It's pretty unnerving when I'm in combat and it happens :cold_sweat:

    I have had it a few times as well and it's annoying as I have no idea how to report why or how it happens, it just happens.

    As posted if you hit ESC ESC quickly it breaks this hold on you.

    Glad I'm not the only one, its very frustrating when I'm trying to avoid repair costs.

    Interesting, I play a Nightblade as well and it's where I have noticed the issue most.
    What skills are you using, maybe it's an issue with one of them?

    I had that a couple of times ... ok when you're fighting a mudcrab, but I died in the bossfight yesterday because of this ... NOT amused.

    I cant remember the name of the skill and I cant check because I cant log in lol.
    Its the ability where you attack a bunch of times rapidly. Usually what happens is I hit that ability, the animation happens but the enemy takes no damage and then every action is totally unresponsive and you are stuck only able to move very slowly or block. nothing else works.

    Nightblade here as well! I notice after I Ambush and then Flurry. Looks like Flurry might be the culprit!

    Oh and you can report bugs in-game by pressing F1 and clicking the Customer Support icon, it looks like a head with a headset on.

    Dragonnight, have this issue aswell, usually alt tabbing out using the windows key fixes it. i'm a dualwielder, so might actually be because of flurry aswell :S haven't noticed precisely when it happens though

    I had a bizarre case of this twice, a single door didn't offer the 'use' pop-up. It happened once, I left and did something else went back and it worked .. then it happened again a bit later, just that one door!

    Yes, that is the same cycle I use and that is the only time it happens to me.

    Happened to me on a regular base on my templar. Quickly opening and closing inventory was the workaround I used. Lately is hasn't happened as much as it did previously.

    I sometimes get this bug when blocking. Opening the skill window or some other UI windows seems to fix it.

    What's more interesting is that most threads similar to this somehow end up disappearing.

    Los of control of actions happens to me as well occasionally, usually a weapon swap will fix it again, otherwise ESC usually does the trick, it's inconvenient but not absolutely blocking.

    Yet it's been in game since beta and they did nothing to fix.

    I have also noticed that happening while I use Flurry. Esc usually helps, but it's always a pain in behind to deal with this.

    Yupp, happens to me constantly when I play my Nightblade. Thought it was just me and have reported this as a bug several times and has cost me a small fortune with repair costs as normally end up getting wiped.
    Tried all suggestions but nothing works for me and I have relog.
    I have noticed on an odd occasion that it actually happens when a mob hits me using one of their skills.
    Wish they would hurry up an fix this one....

    Yes, /reloadui helps, but as a healer the party dies one way or the other.

    I had the issue as well, often. Hitting the "Enter" button twice fixed it all the time, once to enter chat and once to exit it.
    Of course, switching from the lackluster skill line of Dual Wield to Twohanded helped alot more.

    The engine is bug riddled and most of these bugs have been reported during beta.
    NB's, duel wield and most of the passives associated are broken.

    I have had this same bug several times a day myself. I am also a dualwield user so it may be indeed related to the weapon. However I have heard my guildies have the same bug too and I am not sure what weapon they were using.

    I play a templar with staff and i had some trouble with this bug aswell.

    I have found atleast one way to cause this bug, there may be others. If I happen to target a rat and hit my silver shards or whatever its called, first ability unlock for fighters guild, it will misfire and not kill the rat and also cause all abilities and attacks to not respond till I hit escape.

    allways hoping surviving the loading screen
