Are we having any game time added to our accounts for Matt Firor's failed promise of a polished Gaming experience?. Because if this is Americas definition of Polished then pfffft.
nopes, but you get a free Lux skin
Just us Europeans getting screwed again lol, We are paying for a service which isn't even dedicated in the EU. Thats one of the issues, Its been several weeks and no mention of it from anyone on Zos team. Then theirs the constant down time we experience at peak times mostly.
Their are more unscheduled then scheduled maintenance windows. And all of this and all they can say is we are sorry thank you for your patience your custom is important to us. Translation "We are sorry but we couldnt give a toss however please hold as your credit card is important to us" lol!
EDIT Sorry but had to edit i wasn't far off either, I.e Dev tracker "While we don't have an exact ETA for the server coming back online, it does appear that it will be at least a couple hours. We'll update in this thread when we have more news to share. Thanks for your patience! "

I used to be a fanboy too, but then I took a facepalm in my face.

Then why oh why do you give them your service ? Not like you didn't know the server would start off in the US... I'm glad they took the servers down and are fixing them. Letting the log in error as it was wasn't exactly an option now was it ?

Am I just unlucky? Or someone that logs on every day perhaps can give a better assessment of the general downtime? As a casual player I can just cancel for a few months I guess and see if they get their act together but if it's plain bad luck I'll roll another month.
You are just unlucky. People are over exaggerating constantly in these forums. I'm veteran rank 1 300+ quests finished currently so I've played allot.
I've experienced 2 bugs which are currently fixed and another bug which I was able to bypass myself. I've had one downtime period which affected me but was way back in early access period.
And then there is this emergency downtime which I will patiently wait out.
So far I'm more then positive about this game. But waiting a month for some casual players could be good. Most major problems will be fixed by then.
where do you live? i live in rep georgia and its been 3 times since opening than they had 4 -5 h down time. on prime time, that's 3 days for me as i come from work and have only 3-4 hours for game. Seems like you have skipped those downtimes .

You can test something to death and still some random unexpected set of circumstances that somehow never came up in months suddenly does, and all hell breaks loose. The amount of code in an MMO like this one is insanely huge - It is quite possible that many bugs never came to light, and never would have even in years of testing. Only once live and with all the unpredictableness of real players, connections, setups etc will some issues ever appear. It is just how it is. It is completely impossible to test every circumstance when thousands of unique players and internet connections are involved, even with a big beta. This is why some bugs only show up after years and years with no problems.
Every time we get 'unexpected maintenance' (are people really still getting angry about games industry euphemisms? We all know what they mean, does it really matter?) it means something important is getting fixed. Fine with me as it should mean less downtime in the future.
No, i will NOT date your avatar in our game free time"As a result of the login issues, we have taken the European megaserver offline for maintenance."
