This is the second issue in as many months I have had with ESO purchasing through the website.
I tried to buy the digital upgrade edition of Greymoor yesterday. After putting in my cc info and being sure to select that I did not want to renew my subscription (cannot afford it right now due to financial constraints) I attempted to finish the transaction. After it finished it dropped me back to the main account page with no confirmation dialog or any indication that it had worked. I did receive an email about a minute later. Upon checking the email I was notified that I had extended my subscription. I had made very sure not to check that radio button. I went back to my account and it did not indicate that I had pre-purchased Greymoor OR that i had a new subscription. I filed a ticket. I put in all of the above information including the order number.
I received this morning what I can only hope was an automated response that copy pasted completely unhelpful information detailing where Greymoor pre-order bonuses were. This is the second time I have typed out a very thorough explanation of the issue only to be met with simple support site pre-generated language. I replied to that email this morning trying to indicate how this addressed nothing.
I do not want to simply repurchase the Greymoor upgrade as when I did try to start an ESO+ sub for one month the site appeared to not work so I went through the process of doing it a second time only to find that the second time went through within minutes, and then the first time went through 26 hours later. I filed a ticket for a refund, which was met with the same initial garbage response of, "Here's some stuff you already saw on the help site, ticket closed." That I then dealt with for CS over a week to get resolved. I don't want to be charged twice for Greymoor when the system finally gets around to getting it right, but I also would like to pre-order this before it comes out later this month.
In the old days when there was still CS by phone I had a billing issue that was resolved in one call AND they gave me a free month of sub time for my troubles. I know those days of exceptional CS are over so I am looking to the community here for some suggestions on how to best solve this issue. It looks like they did charge my card for the Greymoor digital expansion, but I still do not have my pre-purchase horse. I also do not have confirmation on my account of Greymoor, or my subscription being reactivated. Thoughts?
