Unfortunately it's kind of a wash, because a good deal of the harder 4-man content is nonsoloable due to mechanics.
Some of those mechanics can be bypassed with "cheese" (Uncle Sheo would be proud!), but that tends to require either a very specific gear setup and/or a specific class.

It's also quite tedious and the in-game rewards are hardly worth it - if you want the gear you are much better off farming it in a group, this is something you only do once for the accomplishment.

Your PvP has been unplayable for months. Server is absolute garbage, and vets are leaving the community in droves.

This game had so much potential only to be pissed away. Truly a shame.
As seen in Cyrodiil zone chat:
"This game would have awesome PvP... if it actually worked."

He probably realized he could solo Darkshade Caverns I on normal difficulty, and needs to let the world know.

But for OP: I know a fair deal of DLC dungeons that are pretty hard on you, even if you are a 4 man group. Did Unhallowed Grave (non hm) a couple of days ago, practically on 3 guys - as the forth was a random healer, who did not heal, did not communicate, did only heavy attacks with a restoration staff, and was dead 90% of the time on all bosses. That was pretty hard. Try it. I could not have done it alone.

And if you feel this way, why not just do all the hardmode trials and arenas, and be done with it - and then move on to some more challenging game?

    "PvE is too easy"

i doubt that OP have godslayer tic-toc etc

something makes me doubt that he have triple TR-nodeath-hm in dlc vets too

(if you've got all that done i'm sorry ofc)

as for PvP... there is no PvP in ESO imo...just PvL (player vs LAGS)

and needless to say that lags usually wins in this unequal battle
Sunspire, Cloudrest, Asylum Sanctorum, Halls of Fabrication, Maw of Lorkhaj, Hel Ra Citadel, Aetherian Archive.

All cleared with No-Death Speedrun achievements, primarily as a healer. Some DPS roles.

DLC vet dungeons? Haven't touched the last few put of sheer boredom. But have all the achievements for the others prior to the last two updates.

I've basically only PvP for the past half a year, but now with performance as it is, I'm finding it hard to even log in.

It sounds like you are in an incredibly small percentile of players. I am glad the game is not built around anything you would find difficult as the game would no longer exist. Changing the difficulty of the game to balance around you would drive all the players away.

I agree with the OP. PvE is a complete snorefest.

Most overland mobs die from one ability, offer no challenge whatsoever, and the "boss" die before they finish their opening monologue.

If you believe that overland PVE questing is what's supposed to be challenging in ESO, you are in for one big surprise... :D

PvE content in this game has just gradually been dumbed down more and more, nerfing dungeons and trials over the years, making power creep just obliterate 95% of the game.

The only challenge people really find is by *soloing 4 man content lol*

Your PvP has been unplayable for months. Server is absolute garbage, and vets are leaving the community in droves.

I hope the next major update remedies some of these issues, but I'm not exactly optimistic.

Be careful what you ask. Last game I played, NWO< the community asked the developers to reduce group synergy for buffs and debuffs on bosses. The devs listened so well that buffing was basically removed from the game. Healers stated they wanted to heal more and well that happened as well but again it force players to not play the way they liked or imagined and the community lost around 40-60% of the population in one update. It is what drove me and many of my friends away from NWO. The other thing the devs did was scale everyone down to X amount to make content harder in PVE. Well that didn't work as many complained and still do about not feeling any growth in their character.

This game you see the growth on your character as you gain CP, better gear, etc... a group of CP 10 character running a Vet Crypt of Heart I or Spindle Clutch 1 you do bad damage and it take a while to beat given that from CP 10 to CP 159 you continue to swap over your gear. Once that group hits 160 and gets the proper gear what took 30-45 minutes to beat can be done in less time and as that group increases their CP towards 810 content becomes easier and that is character growth.

As someone that has run plenty of random dungeons Qs on Vet I will state that not all players find content easy. Not all 810 have the skill or knowledge on building effective character to be in a vet content. Also, just because someone has the gear and skills on their bar does not mean that a player has the skill set to be effective with said character.

I find that in all MMO games I have played that end game players get upset with content being to easy, no challenge, etc..they also complain about a lack of difficulty. Those same players will also complain if the content is too hard. I use to enjoy a good challenge and other games I played but often time the elite players only did the first boss in harder content because it was too hard to do all of the content until they got all the gear needed or waited until the devs to adjust it. I'm not saying all end game players are like this but time and time again, mmo after mmo, I have seen this.

IMO this game has the right balance of content for all level of players. Normal level 1 dungeons are for most low level players, than you have level 2 normal which are for mid level players up until they hit 45. DLC normal dungeons are for CP player and players between level 45-50. Vet dungeons up the difficulty a bit more for level 1 where it is a good mix for players between CP 10 and 160. Level 2 vet dungeons are good for players with 160-300 CP. Than DLC vets are good for all other players.

As for trials I would state that they are designed more for end game but the developers have normal and vet with vet gear having additional state to encourage players that want the best trial gear to play the trial in vet mode. I also like that to get into a vet trial groups most groups prefer you go out and get the normal trial gear. It does two things, get the player to get gear that provides better bonus and it also helps the player learn the trial on easy mod. This is the same design the devs did with dungeons.

I would like to see the devs release a special trial arena called survival mode that comes out every 6 months. It would be a singular room where the group faces a set number of adds and than a boss. After beating a wave you have a 5 minutes to repair gear as needed before the next set comes out. However, this set is harder and each sequential set afterwards get tougher in difficulty. After beating 5 waves the group would earn a special random award. Until you reach wave 50. If the group beats wave 50 it would provide you a title and a special mount, customer or motif, all bound to account.

They did this in DCUO and the end game players loved it. I believe something like this above and beyond vet trials may help keep true end game player happy. Another thought is create normal trial, vet trial and than Elite Vet Trial where there are additional mechanics, more health for enemies, etc...

There are many ways to ensure players stay engaged with the game and ZoS just needs to find out what the community would embrace.

I just want functional Cyrodil at this point. And I'd be willing to pay 15$ a month for better servers.

So many people acting like I'm trying to inject opinions in their head. I was just stating how I feel about the current state of the game. Results may vary, butt hurt won't I guess.

pve is not too easy in general. Easy content is too easy and hard content is too hard. Big gap.
in pvp it's the same thing, too wide of a gap between casual and dedicated.
