Too crowded, need more servers

    what we really need is the ability to change instance whenever we want. Just give us a menu in wich we see how many instance of the area thare are and if the population in it is "high", "medium" or "low".

    Just give it around oh 11 days and all the people that got their 30 days free will be quitting.

    I found the biggest problem with public dungeons was the farmers, if I find myself behind people that are killing everything, I just pause a couple minutes and then resume as the mobs respawn very quickly. However, there always seems to be a crowd at the boss (some gold farmers, some just players after something...)

    First of all, you can see no more than 200 players at a time. If this was not in game then you would see 600 to 800 people in the more populated banks.

    Second, find a bank that is not crowded. There are some out there, you just need to find them.

    Third, camping spawns will not get you any more loot. This is a change in the last patch or two. This meaning if you complete the quest or objective and you stay around to farm the boss for loot, you wont receive any additional loot than what you already received.

    Fourth, its better to have people around than go all day and not see anyone.

    No op! Just NO!

    More servers, it's in it's launch month, this is probably as busy as it will get. You'll then if this MMO follows every one out there...see a population decline and 6 months down the line. If they have put more "servers" in, you'll be moaning the game is dead.

    I haven't gotten as far as many, but so far I think the population is pretty good. I come from playing another MMO where our server had an abysmally low population, so I feel like this is working very well.

    In my humble opinion...when you are unable to finish quests because 20 people are competing over the same 3-4 questmobs ( with insanely slow respawn times) ...it is not " working very well" :/

    I believe you are missing the point. I don't think over all numbers of players would effect how many is an instance at any moment. There would just be less instances so I think the problem would exists regardless.

    Relax, its the starting rush. Everyone is in the same level range ( or atleast a lot of everyones at every level range :wink: )). Its normal for a game launch and will sort itself out eventually.

    Yes that is what we need! We need less multiplayer in a multiplayer game!

    Do you know what MMO stands for? MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE....

    If you don't want to see people play Skyrim.

    I agree with there being too many people. I was hoping they would implement better instancing by now. It is impossible to get immersed in the game with the current amount of players that are crowded in each zone. Also the public dungeons are hard to enjoy with tons of players or bots attacking the boss repeatedly.

    Well damn, to me it feels like i'm playing a solo game, the only time where i can actualy feel there are players is inside a bank.

    I suppose everyone has its own definition of "too crowded".

    So in other words you'd like a single player experience when this is being sold as a MMORPG experience?
    Go back to single player TES games please.

    The game is bad enough without more idiotic demands are made of ZOS.

    Perhaps they don't need to do add more servers or instances; they need to find a way to handle all the "players" camping the bosses. I use "players" loosely; I can see "Dragonsrage" or "Needs-Better-Name" as real players. However "players" named "bdfcv" or "asdfgh" imply something rather different to me.

    They just need to separate the EU to EU and other servers to their regions!
    Fix the problem no lag no latency issued etc.!

    I wish places like banks and tradeskill stations had a much smaller population limit. Tired of wading through an ocean of players to find the NPC.

    The amusing bit is that in many banks and tradeskill areas I usually run in, see the massive crowd, then take a few steps around it to talk to the second NPC that is there to do the same job.

    Blacksmithing in Daggerfall is a great example. Tons of people all around one anvil when only a couple of steps away is a second anvil with no-one on it.
