But in fairness I haven’t really liked Any of the new “additions” to Cyrodiil... going all the way back to when they made the towns Spawnable. Or even when they removed doors from towers... Huh...come to think of it...pretty much been since removal of the poor deer...2 -

I arrived on the scene, got sucked up by the cyclone and died in 2 nanoseconds. It actually made me laugh quite a bit.2 -

Shardaxx✭✭✭✭✭The hammer might make "some" kind of sense if it was given to the faction with the fewest Keeps at the time, to enable them to grab some back. But since its random, if it doesn't spawn behind gates then its the faction with the most keeps, and thus the fastest to be able to travel the map to grab it, which gets it the most. This just hands an unneeded advantage to the dominant faction. It's really a joke when you see a massive zerg approaching a Keep with the hammer, you might as well just throw yourself off the walls to your death because unless you have a lot of defenders and can take the hammer down outside, they just storm the Keep in about 30 seconds and its lost.PS4 - Europe - Shardaxx - Wood Elf Nightblade - Aldmeri Dominion2 -
KyleTheYounger✭✭✭Besides it's origins in TES lore, it's also based on the vanilla Daedric weapon quest in single player Skyrim. Which ZoS apparently decided to permanently borrow the intellectual property rights from the single player franchise adapt to MMO ESO.
Fun fact: first made it's debut on the mod scene in a 2012 Skyrim mod. Which remains better in weapon performance on Nexusmods to date IMO

It isn't too bad, as the alliance with Volendrung will amass around the bearer and most of the time will leave the 'backdoor' under-guarded, having Volendrung can therefore be both a blessing and a curse.
It adds spice to the clashes imho.
