Could anyone test this?

I am a pure console peasant and therefore don't have access to PTS so I can't do it myself but I am interested to see how the new mythic item 'Malacath's Band of Brutality' interacts with an ability such as critical charge. I would place a bet that the combination of the two will create some shenanigans.

Pugging. Pugging all the way to victory.
Imperial Dragonknight --- male, stamina, heavy & medium armor, dual wield, one hand and shield, two handed.
Breton Templar --- female, magicka, light armor, restoration staff.
Redguard Warden --- female, stamina, medium armor, bow.
Breton Sorcerer --- male, magicka, light armor, destruction staff.
Imperial Templar --- male, stamina, medium armor, two handed.

Just to clarify, I am talking about the effects of malacath's band preventing any critical hits and critical charge's effect of always guaranteeing a critical hit. These two effects should be in a direct conflict with each other.

Should also apply with the cloak morph for the same reason.

Ok, thank you kindly! Could you still tell me whether it lets through non critical damage or whether the damage output is completely negated?

Without testing these specific examples, it should apply normal, non-critical, damage. The ring doesn't prevent your critical hits from landing, it simply negates the additional damage from critting.

Can also confirm Malacath’s Band nullifies any proc sets that require critical damage to proc ... such as the new Venomous Smite overland 5-piece.

Sure about that? I couldn't get the surge heal to proc with Malacat's glove and 60% crit chance.

it doesn't stop the additional damage, it basically gives you 0% crit chance. It doesn't read that way on your info screen but so far as I can tell several of the Mythics are glitched and don't show on your stats screen. For instance, Thrassian Stranglers doesn't tell you how many stacks you have.

I'm sure that your attacks cannot crit with the ring equipped. From what I've seen, forced crits are being downgraded to standard hits, but I'm not 100% certain how it's working under the hood.
