(yeah, I know it's a jackal not a wolf, still hilarious though)
LOL! there used to be a bug a while back where if you previewed a non-combat pet, you could actually become the pet! so hilarious
A bit offtopic, but Ōkami's visual design was intentionally chosen - it wasn't anything like, say, Silent Hill's fog (which was the result of hardware limitations).Versispellis wrote: »0:20 - Ōkami sequel confirmed?

Hahaha! You know, I really wish I'd seen this on my end. It would have been fun to hop around as a cardboard jackal.
Also: I'd love to see what a modern Ōkami would look like! I bet they could do some really artistic things with how powerful engines are now.
You can still see the visual effect in ESO - there's a particular quest item in Summerset (part of a treasure hunt quest) which does exactly that when you first pick it up, it turns the player character into a monkey.Versispellis wrote: »

The initial design for Ōkami had it look quite realistic (for its time, at any rate), but at some point the decision was made to make it look the way it is now.

In CWC there's also a quest which has the player explore a building as a skeevaton.

Oh, definitely! A decision for the better. I recently started another playthrough of it, and that style still holds up quite well. What I mean is that I'd love to see how they could push the style even further now. We don't have enough games like that. As an artist, I love to see when games buck that trend of "everything must be realistic."You can still see the visual effect in ESO - there's a particular quest item in Summerset (part of a treasure hunt quest) which does exactly that when you first pick it up, it turns the player character into a monkey.

Those quests sound fun! I'll have to try them out. (Summerset and CWC are my least explored expansions.) I know there are some Bosmer quests that turn you into a spirit animal, and I remember a quest somewhere that turns you into a wisp. . . .

Also if you complete the whole quest finding the thieves troves in summerset, you get a furnishing - a magical fan that when activated turns you into the same monkey for about a minuteWish it lasted longer!

Okay, I need that!
Can guests activate it, too?

I had a few mount bugs over the years.
- Missing mounts
- Goblin costum was bugged on mount
- mount was stuck in animation, you could around, but the mount had no animation
- dead bodies riding on a mount (i guess not rly a mount bug, but a revive bug)
- WW riding on a mount

I remember that goblin one. On that note, I haven't seen anyone wearing that polymorph in a long, long time.

this was fun aswell
Awesome, time to tank some dungeons as a skeevaton thenI was doing the CWC skeevaton quest when I got pulled into a PUG. The people said it was hilarious bc they saw me as a skeevaton for the entire dungeon run.
In Cyrodiil, sometimes there's also a general HP desync bug / revive bug - which results in "alive" players showing up as being "dead" for other players.dead bodies riding on a mount (i guess not rly a mount bug, but a revive bug)

This causes hilarious results - because you can attempt to "revive" the "dead" player, and they are also quite lively for someone who's supposed to be dead
