Noticed something in my Endless Sack of Siege and now I got questions

First off I am sorry if this was already asked and answered but I did a search and couldn't find anything from 2020. I made a template character to test a ton of things and today got to the new siege weapon. I opened the Endless Sack of Siege and my eyes were drawn to two particular things I saw.... MERCENARY CONTRACTS. Like WHAT??

Are you guys testing to see if these can come back??? Or was this an oversight when making the Endless Sack of Siege box?

✭✭Oh yeah, they work. I placed them down in front of a keep. Unfortunately PVP in PTS is dead, can't find a dueling area like other PTS cycles but I can place them down.1 -

Mercenaries were NPCs that you could summon in Cyrodiil to defend locations.2 -

You didn't find him in your sack of siege, did you?7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.0 -

They were bugged to all hell and in a pre-CP era where AP took 100x longer to acquire they were not common but for the brief time they were in-game were essentially immortal howitzers of doom

For anyone looking at that thread and going, "9k health? So what?" That's pre-stat adjustment, and would be closer to 500k health today. On an enemy that did high damage. Basically you'd drop have a dungeon boss on someone in Cyrodiil.1 -
