Server choice for testing in PvP

Why give the no CP as only choice to test here with the highest pop being the CP enabled server? What can we possibly test unless we are no CP players with this?

    Not quite the point I was making....but of course. I could restructure the build and get new gear and then test for something I wont be playing in PvP. I mean just because the PvP highest population is playing the CP enabled server and not non CP- I thought maybe someone there would think to enable the CP server for testing----But there I go assuming ZOS is thinking about PvP and the players there.

    CP builds and no-CP builds vary far more than that, I'm pretty sure. You can't test a CP build without the CP and gather information about how it'll fare in a CP campaign.

    Not enough players get into the PvP campaigns to warrant more than one. It is already so bad that Zos cannot really gleam much information with only one campaign open, having more than one would make that worse.

    That is the reason and it is a pretty solid reason.

    Is PTS for getting a headstart on those that don't have it ? I.e. self testing

    Or to provide feedback to ZOS on how things are so no bugs hit live?

    Thats what they told us long ago it was for....but of course this is the equivalent of only opening up one story-line to be tested for PvE and none of the rest of it......Not only is it the lower population of PvP players server type- but about 30% of the content we would need to test is not accessible.

    Simple fix would be to change the campaign between CP/no-CP every week.

    Yeah ...seems simple enough but the real issue is we are already doing the "quality control" for the game by coming over and playing the PTS for them to troubleshoot the game. In game we do policing of the players in game so they dont have to already......they dont even bother to come out to game they just sit back and tell the players to 'report' things to them with 'video' and THEN they react to what they must address.

    Could not ONE of the devs have pointed out that the only available server to test on should be CP enabled BEFORE they opened up the PTS for the testing and quality control to be done by the players for them again? Too much trouble?
