Any chance at all that ZoS will complete the province of Elsweyr???

Wondering if we could get an official response on why we never got that narrow strip of Pelitine in the Elsweyr Expansion or as part of the DLC? Opening arguably the most important city in all of Elsweyr - Torval (its capital city, and home to the Mane, who is very oddly completely absent in the two chapters), and Corinthe, the city with its own Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary. And will it ever be opened now? considering how narrow the zone has been left in, and the fact that you guys moved on to Skyrim, without so much as a word of it... I'd really hate to think the likely most anticipated Khajiit capital city region will forever be locked away from Khajiit players, and lore enthusiasts :'(

Any chance a final DLC could be released to open it up? or an update to grow either northern or southern Elsweyr to complete it? Rimmen and Senchal are absolutely amazing, but Torval would have truly been remarkable to explore, not to mention reunite with the Mane.

Many thanks.

It seems highly unlikely, given the remaining area is so small and an odd shape. Unless they do something weird like a DLC with multiple small maps in different places around the world I can't see how they could add it.

I'm disappointed too, because the Torval Forest is the area of Elseweyr I most wanted to see. The only upside is it means my main character can do the Elseweyr and Dragonhold stories without breaking her vow to never go back home...just re-defining home to mean Torval instead of all of Elseweyr.

We're still waiting for the rest of Vvardenfell ... the Sheogorad region and Dagon Fel to be more precise.

i'm guessing not. they would have added it by now. it will forever be a mystery. my guess is that there will be places on the map that will never be filled. and we're just gonna have to make peace with that.

The only realistic way I can see them doing it is with a Nibenay Valley or Topal Bay expansion... stretching from central Elsweyr around the mouth of the nibenay river valley and the west part of Murkmire.

It could be a very interesting DLC if they ever did so because it would encompass three races and flesh out the region's missing pieces. The map shape of the DLC would be awkward of course but there is no other way to accomplish this.

I really hope they can do it because I hate not having the last piece of Elsweyr.

The trouble with the Mane is that there are two/three possibilities for the mane based on the Reapers March chapter of the base game. That would have to be dealt with before the Elsweyr capital is put in.

Yeah I think this is the reason they didn't include and also a logical argument for why we'll never see it.

Couldn't they just design it so that you don't see the Mane? It would actually be more realistic to not be allowed to go and chat to the ruler of a nation, even if you've met them before. But also my understanding is that the Mane spends most of their time either meditating or resolving disputes between khajiit, so they could just say she's doing one or both of those during your visit and cannot be disturbed.

Well, I don't agree with that statement, I really think that all be be filled eventually... and then we move to other 'continents' :)

Yea Im also disappointed that they put that strip of nothing between the 2 maps.
Very wonky. I mean its not that big of a space, how hard would it have been to just fill it in?

It seems too small for a zone. Maybe it will end up an instance for a dungeon, trial, or quest.

The answer to the question posed in the OP is a resounding yes. Obviously there is a chance. That does not mean it will be soon or guarantee it.

Well, even on the map of the new chapter we have a big gap between western skyrim and the eastern province already in game (source : many video made by youtube streamer to promote the new chapter who had tested a build of the chapter) so maybe it's a new choice of the dev to leave gap of unexplored region to live space for future (very far away) story written by other....

And a new continent ? maybe, very unlikely... It's like the dwemer the mystery is the most important part of this kind of things. We don't even know if Aldmeris, Atmora or Yokuda are real so if we had an actual confirmation it would be against the main theme to interpret the story by the different point of view of people living the history and not having a story written an made canon.

Given plenty of us killed Sai or Lyris in the main quest, I don’t think this is an issue for ZOS  They just pick a canon option to go forwards with.

I’d love Torval in a future DLC, but this engine is terrible at dense forest/jungle. Might be the reason the skipped it so far. Maybe with some more engine improvements we’ll get to visit one day. But it’d be a shame if it’s as sparse and open as Valenwood is. Better off skipping it entirely and working on zones they can do justice in that case.

Add new content, no. They wouldn’t.

Hopefully they just extend the southern border of the Northern Elsweyr zone, and the northern border of the Southern Elsweyr zone, so that they meet.

That way there isn’t a strange hideous middle area on our maps.

There is always a chance. Even for such an oddly shaped strip of land - it could be dome as "guild sized DLC" like TG or DB; I could see this as the start of a "merchant guild" story, a trade city at one end, a bandaari trading post at the other, and the initial quest might be escorting a caravan the whole trip... then at the end of the questings there, get a membership in the traders guild and branch out trading yourself all over the existing maps... could work.

Of course, I would say that, would I not, considering: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/387560/additional-guild-ideas-mk-ii ;)

They have said multiple times they have every intention of adding every part of the map in. If it's a dlc or even weirder a chapter I bet it would come with a daedric relam or something as the bulk of the content.
