Cant 'feed' on vampire?

I'm on my Vampire who has all the skills but cannot feed. I only get "blade of woe" no matter what. I start at max distance and sneak forward until the enemy ultimately agros and no feed ever comes up.

✭Blade of woe unfortunately takes priority, which means your only option(if on PC) is the addon called "vampire's woe" which allows you to suppress 1 or both of those prompts.1 -

Ok, I'll look into that. I finally got it to work just now but I had to stand well farther back than normal. I was trying to do the 'old' way of sneaking relatively close but now it seems to trigger farther away.0
