Did anyone watch the trailer for this season and see vampires at least theatrically and hope that it has good synergy with NB? Maybe that will provide more gameplay options than just stealth speed and maybe mist. On the other hand; maybe the stealth speed goes away...

I generally have ran mine and felt like it was good, but people are kind of right in that its great for ganking players who are a little worse at the game. I think the ganking part will have to be given up to reach the strength of other classes that brawl; though. I don't really like to sit back and wait long for ganking myself. I more like it to kind of go in and out of stealth while still fighting in a group vs group setting. Almost more of blinking than ganking; if that makes sense. But every game that has a ganking type stealth class I have played at the center of its archetype; its always been underpowered or OP. Never just in a good spot

I play the same way, though magplar does it better from my experience. Just use mist instead of cloak.

So many people aren’t creative when making specs and pigeon hole themselves into what they think a class should be. High speed and kiting works better as a magplar then magblade, the only issue is kiting sorcs with streak.

I found magplar the easiest transition. It’s basicly like a dark cloak magblade but less tanky, better burst, better sustain, and you can bring yourself to full health with the press of one button.

Only issue is ritual will be losing the snare so magplar won’t be faster then a magblade, I’m not sure how that will play out.

Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

With all the nightblade threads lately, I’m guessing a lot of players that took a few months off from the game are coming back to see that other classes exist and the nightblade meta has passed. For PVE Stam is def tough, but in good hands still capable of decent damage. Magblade is damn strong, can buff group with MA, and a lot of trial guilds are actively recruiting them. For pvp, they still gank better than any other class. I love my nightblade and would love to see buffs, but I don’t understand where all this doom and gloom is coming from all of a sudden. It’s nice seeing raid comps that have more than just sorcs and stamblades.

This is what happened to me. Came back this past month and finished up murkmire and all of elsweyr on my main which is a stamblade. I really loved my nb for quite some time, but now it just feels bad and a lot weaker. Granted I need to make some changes in my gear again, cp points etc. But still it feels neutered. Probably going to switch and play my sorc instead.

Yeah I just busted my entire burst with 5 k spell damage and fully buffed to the extreme on a stamnecro and they just laughed, magblade is hurting.

I have a stam nightblade, which according to your picture is absolutely terrible to play. But I'm having an absolute blast here on my 'terribly underpowered' (?????) nightblade.

All I can think is perhaps you should get a good night's sleep, contemplate life for a while, perhaps take a break and go do something outside so that you can get a better attitude. SMH.

You're misinterpreting the graph. It's not "terrible to play", it's just not as flexible as all other classes are in solo, small scale, and large scale fights.

I'm not going to go into detail regarding the endless stream of nerfs Nightblades have sustained, or how you've taken unique NB skills and given improved versions of them to other (in some cases all) classes, or how you took away buffs from NBs because they were supposedly OP only to give them to other classes, or how you added cast times to NB ultimates but not to other classes', or how other classes have received buffs while NBs are completely ignored — you are fully aware of everything you have done. I just want to know why.

I can only think of three reasons that you would allow one class to be so woefully underpowered compared to every other:
    a) you're not even aware that this is the case,
    b) you are aware but just don't care, or
    c) you want the class to be this weak.
I find A to be unlikely, and B wouldn't make sense because you're always tinkering with the balance of the game, so I am going to assume it is C — so can someone please explain the rationale behind it?

I have been waiting for months now for you to realize your mistake and fix it, the whole time spending money on ESO+ and updates. Unfortunately I cannot justify continuing to do this anymore, as you appear to not care in the least that the class is this broken and have shown no signs of intending to fix it — and I don't feel like I should have to completely change classes just to enjoy the game.

Even an acknowledgement that you are aware of the problem would be a [tiny] step in the right direction, but you haven't even given us that. I don't really expect anyone to respond to this, but since I am a paying customer it would be very nice if someone did.
    Best regards

[edit] I should note that this post is coming from the perspective of a magblade PVPer that plays mainly in BGs. I can't say from experience how they perform in PVE anymore — from what I understand they still underperform just not nearly as badly as in PVP.

Over the past several months, I was following Nightblade post and it seemed the class was out performing other builds in Cyrodiil. I read were players were complaining and asking for the nerf`s. My thoughts are, ESO will get enough complaints and then change the how the class can be used. I may get backlash from this but that`s what i`ve read over the past several months.

Biggest thing I want for magblade is for concealed weapon to give hot on contact or major breach and a strong class heal from one of malevolent offering morphs us melee magblade still exist ⚔️

It would be wicked to actually be able to jump in with Lotus Fan and go toe-to-toe using Concealed, and be at least half as good as a Templar or DK.

Right now we aren't even a tenth as good with that setup.

The removal of cast times + a heal attached to Concealed would go a long way.

Night blades where too good, they had to be punished, still the best class for solo pvp imo

And yet Templar’s and wardens in PvP are still OP.

"50 pages" of changes on the PTS and not one fix/buff for magblades.

I wonder if any of the Dev team worked on Earth and Beyond back in the day.

There were stealth DPS ships that used lazers, Powerful Tank ships that used ammo, and Terrans who used missiles

They always had problems balancing the stealth DPS because making them have strong DPS and people felt they were too powerful in pvp.

But without strong weapons they were useless in PVP. So they just went arround with the knowledge that if they needed to they could run away easily. Not win, Not kill. Just run away.
