1 – While your Stamina is less than 50%, increases your Magicka Recovery by 450. While your Magicka is less than 50%, increases your Stamina Recovery by 450.

Mages can just bash weave to get this effect, we will have to see how these 1pce sets factor into the meta with it breaking other set bonuses, but this seems both decently powerful (not the best in the world) but incredably easy to proc and encoraging a heavily vilified playstyle.

highly doubt anybody is going to sacrifice a monster set, in order to get recovery that is largely unneeded.

Agreed. I feel like Mythic are all pretty balanced. Plus being CC’d and unable to break due to the strat is just as dangerous as doing no damage and being a potato. Dead people don’t do damage.

Fixed numerous issues where the audio for consuming a Quick Slotted item would play while you were unable to activate the item.

Reduced the damage of Bashing by 80%.

Of the mythic items, Malacath's Band of Brutality seems like the one with the most potential to me. You lose crit damage, but gain a permanent 25% damage increase. And you can build entirely around base damage with minimal crit chance. Frees up some CP to put in more damage modifiers.

Indeed, I am mearly concerned that if at any time bashing becomes a benefit to the player (beyond the actual intended use) then it further encorages the playstyle.

Its good that they nerfed it, it will keep it out of the DPS meta, but in PVP it will still be OP for burst etc. (Not that I expect ZOS to fix this atm), but anything that benefits from bashing is always a concern for the health of the game, imo.

To follow up on my Band of Brutality comment, the 25% increase and lack of crit damage could actually work really well on a build designed around procs, since they can't crit anyways. Something Like this Mythic item, two piece Zaan, 2 pieces of Willpower jewelry, and something like Calurians and an arena staff.

Agreed, that does seem very interesting. I have yet to sit down and do the maths as I dont really have ball park figures for crit generally, but I do suspect that because the first few dozen % points in crit are so easy to get, if wont be much if anything of a buff, and probably a loss compared to the set you will lose.

Yeah, the missing set is definitely a hurdle. But, I think that the raw stat's from wearing a 1 piece instead of a monster helm for example, may also be a little more beneficial, without having to worry about the monster set proccing when you need it. For a number of my stam builds, when I don't need a defensive set, I just run double weapon damage 1 pieces, so this would certainly be some sort of buff with replacing 1 of those 1 pieces and wearing the permanent 25% increase.

Look at it this way, would you wear a two piece monster set that give you 15/45% movement speed + 450 regen? I see them as build your own monster set items.

The brutality mythic is super interesting. You trade 150-170% damage some percentage of the time, for 125% damage all the time...during the patch where they nerf crit resistance. (If it prevents critical heals, its a non-starter.)

Would love for people to be more encouraged to bash. When I am leveling mag-DPS alts, I find myself bashing a lot in dungeons as others seem oblivious about interrupts. I guess tanking since launch has made it hard for me to ignore.
