PSA: STALKING BLASTBONES STILL LITERALLY DOES NOTHING

Ever since the last patch and the 'fixes' to blastbones, the magicka morph quite literally does not work. Can we get some acknowledgement of this bug or are we going to have to wait 4+ more months to get a basic skill morph fixed?

    Go try it right now. The morph does not add on any extra damage based on distance.

    Just because the skill casts doesn't mean it works as intended. (:

    iv noticed this also, i only use mine now to make a corpse near boss for shocking syphon because thats all it seems good for right now.

    I still love mine but I don't know how to feel about the secondary effect not being updated. But then again they did say they weren't going to focus on class changes this update.

    Somehow they still managed to focus on class changes enough to nerf magcro though.

    I’m using the stamina morph on my magcro for the defile debuff. Also because the magicka morph sucks.

    Literally could copy the functionality of Screaming Cliff Racer, increasing its damage based on your distance from the target. Same general concept as Stalking Blastbones was originally meant for.

    Or let it spawn two slightly weaker blastbones per cast, generating more damage and an additional corpse.

    Why leave it in such a weird position where the morph effect no longer matches the skill?

    it is stuff like this that shows how bad they are as developers and communication.

    they screwed up huge and instead of admitting it they completely ignored the massive topic on this last pts. not one comment. it seems they think if they dont say anything it is like it never happened.

    then you will get a mod coming in here making things much worse instead of having someone acknowledge they messed up.

    it seems their ego is more important than their customers which is just sad because eventually it will lead to the downfall of the game.

    I hope i am wrong, but i can almost guarantee they will not comment on this.

    For real though what is going on with necro this patch?

    1. DPS nerf, why?
    2. No fix to blastbones/skeletal arcanist crit, why?
    3. No addition or change to stalking blastbones morph, why?
    4. Siphon back on gcd, why? No one wanted or asked for this regardless of how well it worked.

    Magicka Necro has an issue that no other class has, which is that it requires corpse management in order to do less damage than other classes. Why are we putting in all of this work managing corpses only to fall short of everyone else? What is the incentive to play necro if we have to rely on corpses for our abilities to do equal damage or healing as everyone else's?

    Can we at least get competitive DPS for managing corpses? Can boneyard do more damage than other ground aoes if it uses a corpse? Or at least not do less? No other class is limited in where they can place their AOEs like we are. Seriously tired of having to do so much more for so little payoff.

    I got this feeling there will be no answer to this.

    I found out about the issue from a video made in january.

    It would seem as though their development time was used for the scheming up of exotic nerfs to beloved sets rather than fixing the clearly broken aspects of their game, including Magicka Blastbones.

    That indirect dps nerf is really dumb. Necro is already behind dk, sorc,nb and templar in live dps, it is carryed just for the colossus. I only can imagine zos logic: New vampire skill implemented , you can activate it outside global cooldown. Oh no Necro already has a skill with that function, better to put it back in the G cooldown to not interfere with the vampire one!
    Really no sense change from a pve prospective.
