Add Undaunted Plunder to Arenas
So with the addition of Perfected Maelstrom weapons to vMA, I think that it would be awesome to add Undaunted Plunder to the arenas. I think that it would make the regrinding of the vMA more rewarding. Not sure how much would be appropriate, but it would be better than the <5k that is currently awarded if you collect all chests. Just a thought that I had. it would make me way happier running through the content again.

✭✭✭✭✭The justification for adding it to trials is not there for vMA. There used to drops in trials that could be sold to any player. Plunder pretty much replaced that.
Further, the idea of 5k would be a complete joke considering how much we get for just a few minutes in vAA, not even counting HM. and vMA takes a lot longer to clear by the fastest players.
Not arguing with the idea. Just pointing out some history at first and put that 5k into perspective in the end. I certainly would not mind more gold.0 -
Yes, I know that it was added to make the change from selling boe gear, which is interesting because you can still sell gear from vDSA. I can't remember exactly which patch it was but I know it was back in 2016. All I was saying was it would be nice to earn some extra coin while grinding

I'd like this. Running vMA is currently money loss since apart from the untradeable weapon, nothing you get is very valuable and you still have to fix your gear and possibly buy potions (Spell power pots are at redicculous prices nowadays...).
vDSA is a bit better since some of the loot actually sells but still wouldn't mind to have something like 1 plunder / arena and 3 from the last boss.

Did you even read OP's post before replying? He's not suggesting 5k specifically be the reward at all.

Sinolai's point is more online with what I was trying to say, the point of the plunder is more about covering cost than it is about making real money. With that said, I would love to get 20k from running vMA, but that would be quite a lot of plunder. My 5k example from OP was adding the money you can currently pick up from the chest at the end of each round plus the final 664 from turning in the quest. Anyways, I just though it would be an added bonus of some spending money after we all run it another 100 or so times 1
