I use non-reoccuring payment method - so I can buy as much time as I want and even stack different lengths, like 6+3 months. Why i would want to stack them like that?- For example if I want to buy that observatory in clockwork city, 6+3 month combined would give me the crowns right away to buy it - i don't have to wait. This is why i prefer non-reoccuring methods.

I used to do this. I would buy 60-day ESO Plus cards and use those. Sadly, I have not seen one of those in years. What are you using to do this?

As unstable as some portions of this game are, going with more than month to month seems like an unwise financial decision to me. ESO has the feel of a game that could have all support for it dropped tomorrow to me.

Monthly, because sooner or later I get sick of the nerfs/having to re-farm gear or poor performance. If the game ran beautifully, I would do 6 month subs.... probably for years now.

Usually monthly, but I've just cancelled and it runs out on the 26th. I'm not happy with the performance at the minute, and I can play without a sub if I feel the itch.

For the time being I'll be killing jungle trolls and a certain blood god in another game.

monthly easier to manage. You can get into a slump. Or other rl events prevent you from playing.

I always go monthly, because there's a good chance I might rage quit when they break combat anymore and take a long hiatus from the game again. If you're happy with the way things are, and their changes don't bother you that greatly, then obviously taking out a longer subscription will benefit you the most.
If you're like me and you don't know how long you'll be around for, it's best to take the monthly, or even quarterly option (if they offer it).

    0. I wouldnt mind to pay It twice if i could play. But in this game state, just not asking for a refund is a generous position.

I was gonna get the year, but then settled on 6 months. First because I still have to get through this month before I can renew for the 6, which nets me 7 and second, because I never play the game long enough in past to believe I would make it a year without wasting a lot of the time. Figured 6 month would give me a good stretch and can reevaluate later.

The only time I ever find myself taking a break from ESO is after an arduous in-game event (like just after the anniversary event). I devote a lot of time during the event because it's very rewarding. However, once it's over I find that I need to take it slow for a week or two after. I'm back at it now though.

I suppose whether you are a continuous player also depends on what aspects of the game you enjoy. If you are only interested in the new dungeons and then run them till you're sick of them, I can understand that you'd be a very sporadic player. I'm very much into character development, so I enjoy doing the crafting, making gold and buying houses. Leveling multiple characters, gaining skill improvements, etc. I guess I would say I play my character, not the game. Quests and dungeons are a means of improving my characters.

I'm getting ready to renew my ESO Plus Sub and debating on whether to continue the month to month sub or just screw it and get the 1 year sub. That way I can save $40 US a year.

    How long is your subscription?

you have enough months to understand what it is
I would recommend a 10-day subscription, it’s enough to understand all the content in the game.
Your gameplay will not radically change depending on the level, equipment or something else. The probability that you will do at level 50 the same as what you did at level 10 is 95%
Classes and equipment do not affect anything.
All can be all. It reminds anarchy
Roles exist in the form of names, abilities differ only in name and animation, there is no clear concept of roles here. Well, then everyone is interested in DPS, achievements and other mumba yumba.
A lot of writing and reading, for fans. For ordinary players, not sure.
Pvé content is not based on a clear separation of roles in the group, but on incomprehensible rules of behavior of NPCs and mechanics. The very fact that everyone can be everyone goes contrary to the fact that you are registering in groups under a certain role (this does not make sense). Just registering from 4 people without the requirement to choose a role in which there is no point and that would be more effective in my opinion.
The equipment does not affect anything, you have a feeling that you are finding new equipment and becoming stronger, but it’s not true - your stats drop with a level, and in fact at level 1 you have top indicators on equipment that can be at level 50.

I do not want to comment on Pvp content.

Yeah after hearing the news about vma I'm having thoughts about doing the same. I really don't want to grind again. Failure to fix performance issues, making constant stupid changes every other patch. Friends quitting the game. It's all feeling rather "meh" at the moment.

I was on a 6-month sub, but switched to a 1 month for a couple months for money reasons. Once that stabilized, I immediately switched to a 1 year sub.
